Had a great stay at the horse house. We had plenty of room for 3 families and our pups. Our kids loved the game room, separate basement hang out area, and the basketball garage. And of course we very much enjoyed being able to see horses all day!

This place was AMAZING! I started to get nervous seeing some photos posted in the days leading up to my stay… but this place was nothing short of amazing. The horses are beautiful, the home is beautiful, it’s an old building that has been added in to and they definitely have very hard water but what place is perfect?? The beds were completely, the views were amazing, we have 10 kids and we have never had such a issue free vacation because there was so much space for them to spread out and so many options of things to do! All kids 2-16 had a blast and parents and grandparents enjoyed the relaxation while the kids were in their glory!

Was little worried about the reviews before checking in but……The atmosphere with the horses was beautiful! Sleeping arrangements worked out good for our family vacation of 8 adults & 7 kids. Check in was easy. The central air wasn’t working but the house did have 4 air conditioners and fans. The basement area got alittle warm thru the night and we didn’t use the loft afraid it might get to warm but everything turned out good! Thank you for sharing your home with our family.

If you have a big family or lots of kids, this place is great. There was always something to do to keep them busy. Seeing the horses was an added bonus and some of the girls working the barn took time to talk to us about the horses. The house could use alittle TLC needing maintenance on a few things but it did not take away from a great time. We will book again.

Our large family has loved staying at this home for several years, as it has a great layout and is just a short drive to Hershey Park. However, we are sad to see that the property suffers from years of deferred maintenance. We contacted the host about our concerns; while she did make some quick repairs to the back porch, other major items still need immediate attention:Safety Hazards: The host replaced some boards on the back porch, but the front porch still has badly rotted wood and remains a true hazard. Additionally, the sliding doors to the pool room are off track and completely fall off when you try to open them.Hard Water Issues: The pool bottom and bathtubs are heavily stained from hard water. While it makes the home look dirty, it really just needs a dedicated treatment with the right specialized hard-water cleaners to look fresh again.We truly love this house and want to keep coming back, but it desperately needs a thorough, professional maintenance update to remain a safe family retreat."

This place lacks general upkeep and cleaning. On the decks, nails sticking out, broken boards, torn seats on the patio furniture, Rusty bottle cap and weeds overgrowing the patio, overflowing trash upon arrival, moldy walls in the pool room, broken sliding doors, stained carpets on the gamerooom stairs and basement, full dehumidifier in the basement (upon arrival) coffee grinds left in the coffee maker (upon arrival). 1 broken shower, 1 working shower, and 1 severly stained tub. The tile floors in the working bath was filthy and there was severe mold on the towl rack where wet towels were left.

Suits for allAges. We have a party of 12. However it’s better for younger family with bunkers beds and sofa beds. Some of stuff are can be updated like showers and chairs. But overall it’s a cute place to stay, love to wake up seeing horses right outside. And we never bored of nothing to do.

We love the setting! It was beautiful. The game room was nice to have. And the house is spacious. However, the landscaping is not well kept up. The decks are in terrible shape and are borderline unsafe. As is some of the furniture that is broken down. And one bathtub is very stained with rust and the faucet leaks water. That stuff being said, it was very nice to have them provide supplies like toiletries, towels,linens and other paper products.

A Wonderful stay at the "horse house" as always. Great for all ages. As always, the house is clean, orderly and well-equipped, and Lesley is very responsive to our questions. The indoor pool is a real treat! We highly recommend!!

We loved the pool area. The grandkids had a great time. They also loved watching the horses. The house could use a little bit of an upgrade. Only seating at the table was for 5 and two of those chairs had broken spindles so adults weren’t comfortable seating on them.

Everything about this experience was wonderful!!! Our host was fabulous, the house was the perfect place for a family to stay, and the location was very convenient. The pictures of the house do not do it justice. It was warm and cozy with so much for us to do. We will definitely be returning.

The pool, game room and basketball court was wonderful entertainment for the grandkids.However, the bedroom carpets were old and dirty. The kitchen table only had 5 chairs. The fireplace was broken. The showers were rusty from the well water.
