The Space:
The Aloha Tai Suite is one of the members of the Aloha Aku rental family. Located at the fabulous Maui Sunset Resort Condo complex it offers the traveler looking for the resort condo experience a generous balance of reasonable cost and access to large resort amenities.
Family friendly, it features 1 bedroom with a comfortable King bed, 2 bathrooms, a spacious living room with a queen pull-out 8.5" sleeper mattress sofa, as well as a comfortable twin murphy bed for even more sleeping space. It also sports a fully equipped kitchen and private covered lanai. Walk through the picturesque grounds and catch one of Maui's famous beachfront sunsets.
There is a large pool and activities reservation center onsite with an array of lawn games and equipment available for check-out as well as stand-up paddle board rentals. Security is maintained 24 hours and with easy self-check in you can access your suite any time of day or night. There is a courteous and helpful registration office with staff available and convenient free-parking is right outside your door. There is a small workout room, shuffleboards, putting greens on property, and adjacent public tennis courts.
The Maui Sunset is on Waiohuli Beach, an unspoiled, uncrowded area, and one of Maui's best kept secrets! World class golf courses and other great swimming and snorkeling beaches are nearby. Centrally located in mid-Kihei, lots of restaurants, shopping and groceries are within easy walking & biking distance.
The Aloha Tai Suite is a beautifully updated and comfortable one bedroom condo on the ground-floor of one of the best maintained resort/condominium complexes on Maui. We would love to host you and make your stay the most memorable and enjoyable as possible!

I have stayed at Maui Sunset multiple times but never on the ground level. Being on this level was great for the kids. Place great, views great and pool great.

This property had everything we needed. We paid for a lot of excursions so we wanted to save some money and cooked most of our food. There resort is very beautiful right next to the beach and a lot of grassy area to have extra fun.

Great place to stay

This place was great for my daughter and me. Super easy to walk to the beach for an early morning beach walk or to just sit and watch the sunset. This place has beach chairs and toys for you to use. Easy access to restaurants and shopping. Would recommend to anyone.

Great condo!

We had a wonderful vacation! The managers are great to communicate with if we had any questions before and during our stay. The location in Kihei is excellent, it is a quick commute to airport and nearby shopping/restaurants. The green space and ocean access was perfect with small kids.

Best Vacation Experience!

Our family had the best time ever at Gary and Sarah’s place! The place was clean and well kept. We enjoyed meals on the lanai, then walking to the beach a few steps away. The hosts were very responsive to questions and very accommodating. We’re looking forward to coming back.

Clean and comfortable

We enjoyed our stay here. The beach is not ideal as there is a lot of washed up coral and the water is not as clear as other beaches. The apartment itself was clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed the ground level patio especially.

Family vacation

We had a great experience at this condo. It has everything you need for a family with big and little kids. Beach towels, chairs, umbrella and some toys are included. We liked that condo was on a first floor. So kids could go and play right from the patio. Since it is located in a corner we felt secluded. Short driving distance to groceries, coffee shops and other beaches to explore. Definitely recommend to stay with a family.

Beautiful location, comfortable condo

This is a beautiful setting with everything you need to enjoy a several day stay in Maui. Well appointed kitchen, laundry and beach toys. A Safeway is close by. The beach is beautiful and was not crowded while we were there. Note that the building management sends different emails with details than the owners access instructions. Check in at the office after you arrive at your unit.

Maui Sunset

Perfect spot for the beautiful sunsets in Maui. The unit has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is within walking distance to the local Safeway if you wanted to get some groceries to save on some food costs and cook yourself a nice meal. There's also plenty of food spots within walking distance to grab a quick bite to eat. Unit also has snorkel gear to use as well as children's beach toys if you brought the kiddos along. I would stay here again and recommend staying at this unit. And did I mention the sunsets!

Dated condo in a great location. It’s functional and host has stocked full kitchen and beach stuff which was a big plus. Unit needs some TLC though. Bed is awful (way too squishy) and needs new linens (bottom sheet won’t stay on bed and bedspread has rips in it). Bedroom view is ground level parking lot and a handful of weird people sitting in parking lot and smoking throughout the day/night. We wouldn’t stay here again.
