This is a wonderful property that is close to activities for all. The cottage is well maintained and spacious. The deck is a great place to enjoy the views.

Beautiful property! Great views of the bay behind the house. The house is well appointed with coffee maker and cooking utensils. Beautiful and comfortable deck just off the water. Didn’t use the fire pit or hot tub but both appeared to be nice. Very nice kayaks available for exploring the bay. Fishing in the bay was good as well. Very conveniently located between Peggy’s Cove and Halifax.

Us four guests just kept throwing out the absolute pluses of this property:Everything was convenient! Everything is in the house and we never had to search for something. Everything is well thought out and provided for us. Host was very responsive! The hot tub provides a million dollar view. The deck was lovely when the sun came out. The kayaks are a great way to have some fun on the ocean. King size beds were lovely! Not a complaint-we got what we paid for and it was worth it!!

This place was so lovely for our annual girls trip! The house was so perfectly thought out and the view was fantastic. Kitchen was really great for all of our cooking needs. Also very comfy beds! The host was awesome would highly recommend this dreamy getaway!

Amazing sprawling views of gorgeous NS coastline. A beautifully and thoughtfully decorated cottage with great space for our young family. The hot tub was much appreciated during our winter stay. Lovely details and quality items throughout, giving a touch of luxury in a natural rugged location. Thanh is such a responsive and attentive host. Worth the splurge! Especially in such a great location between Halifax and attractions like Peggys Cove and Lunenberg.

Amazing girls weekend away

I will be back to this place in the near future. It was so peaceful and quiet and the inside was beautiful. It was very clean and the views are beautiful. I highly recommend this place to stay at.

We had so much fun! The set up of the house was great for 2 couples and a toddler. Our daughter loved walking down to the little beach right off the property and we even caught a few fish off the dock. Thank you so much for sharing your home!

Great anniversary stay

The Vik is in a stunning location right on the water. Both the sunrise and sunset are gorgeous from the deck and cottage. We even got to see the Northern Lights! The host is very responsive and helpful. Great stay.

Beautiful little location

We had a really great time at the Vik! The location was perfect, just outside the city with a beautiful view of the Bay. The hot tub was the perfect want to relax after a long day. The location was clean and beautifully decorated, with plenty of amenities. We would definitely stay again!

Magical spot for family vacation

We loved the Vic, it is the ideal location for traveling to Halifax, Peggy's Cove and Lunenburg. Eventhough the weather was bad, the cottage had enough games and entertainment that my 11 and 12 year olds didn't get bored.

Beautiful view and very clean

The view of the bay from the living room and decks was fantastic. The home was immaculate and well provisioned and the host was very quick to respond to questions. Wish we had booked a longer stay.

Stay in Bayside Nova Scotia

We loved our trip to Nova Scotia. The place was perfect for our family. It had all the amenities. It was very clean and the view was amazing! We loved having use of the kayaks and firepit and the great outdoor deck and space. I would highly recommend this home.

Amazing cottage on the ocean

The pictures can’t show how beautiful and peaceful this cottage is. The host couldn’t be more accommodating. The space is clean and very well appointed. I must compliment on the decor and furnishings. We had a fabulous three days here. Wish we could stay longer and next time we will.

This location is perfect! Close drive to Peggy’s Cove. House is spotless and house and the hot tub views are amazing. Be sure to eat at Martins Kitchen or Rhubarb. Both a short drive from the house.

The Vik was absolutely wonderful. Would stay again and have already made several recommendations. Check-in was easy, smooth. The property is even better in real life. It is welcoming, quiet and very family friendly. Owners really were considerate and kind.
