Amazing long weekend stay at Poorinda. We stayed for my friends hens weekend and everyone was in awe of the incredible outdoor space and pool it was total luxury. All mattresses extremely comfortable and kitchens are well equipped with everything you could need. Thank you so much for having us

Amazing Property - Great weekend

We had a great weekend at this amazing property. Good times in the pool and enjoyed the view. Wish we had stayed longer.

We had a lovely family holiday here. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water and kitchen was well supplied with utensils etc. Beautiful accommodation that hasn’t been well maintained. When we turned the dishwasher on water poured out of the waste pipe under the sink. We waited to get a plumber who replaced the pipe but advised us not to use the dishwasher which was very inconvenient as we were a party of 14. Clearly the waste pipe had been like that for a while. Unfortunately the house wasn’t clean. Also on our 4th day whenever we turned an appliance on it tripped the power circuit. The electrician came promptly but wasn’t able to resolve the issue. I note on previous reviews guests have experienced similar problems that haven’t been addressed. Also on the listing it states that there is a gym but we couldn’t find it. We paid a premium price for this accommodation but felt the standard fell short of our expectation.

I’m sorry you had these issues Phillipa, Rest assured all electrical issues have been addressed and finally found the culprit; it was the defrost element in the refrigerator. Additionally a new dishwasher has been installed. I truly hope you enjoy your next stay.

Poorinda retreat weekend stay

A fantastic place to stay for family groups or a group of friends. We held a 40th here and it was perfect, space to dance on the deck and set up tables and chairs. The bar is so handy for everyone to use. The views and tranquility of the property make it so relaxing to lay or swim in the pool or enjoy a hot spa. Everything you need is provided in the houses, was a great place to stay.

Bridal Party stayed here over wedding weekend

The property was perfect for our wedding weekend, it fit our large bridal party together at the residence. We where able to get our get ready photos and still have different dwellings for both the groomsmen and the bridesmaids. Kerri Lea is an amazing host and was within reach when needed. Thank you for making our wedding weekend so great. The view, pool and spa where excellent.

Not Recommended, host is agressive, place rundown

The pool and outlook were amazing, but everything else fell short. The air con didn’t work on a 35-degree day, lights were out in the main house, and a friend was electrocuted by a faulty power point—serious safety issues. The host was rude when we raised concerns and then tried to charge extra for using the BBQ and fireplace. Needs urgent maintenance and better management.

Come for the view, stay for the comfort.

This property caters for large groups in an idyllic setting. It is a beautiful property. Things to note: - No bedrooms accessible on ground level unless the King Suite is booked at additional cost - smaller villa sleeps 10, in open planned loft type set up, great for a group of older teenagers or young adults - cosy main house has the large open planned living areas with 3 upstairs bedrooms, one with en-suite. - main bathroom in main house is also upstairs with shower only accessible by stepping up high into large corner spa bath. Not accessible for anyone with mobility issues. - No written instructions available for appliances, smart tv, Wi-Fi making it challenging to use ovens, TV. Host is onsite, best to ask her how to navigate these things at check in.
