Great view and close proximity to Alderbrook Resort

We trailered our boat and docked it at Alderbrook Resort so we could boat and explore the Hood Canal. The rental was close to the resort and we had a great time during the day on the deck and the family room with fantastic views of the Hood Canal.

The views are spectacular. The setting is incredible with beautiful gardens and fruit trees. We were in the area for a wedding at a local venue. The location was perfect and a great place to relax. Everyone in our family was comfortable and the host was very accommodating.

Fantastic stay

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home! The sweeping views of the water are absolutely breathtaking — the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The house was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, making it incredibly comfortable for our family. We especially loved the outdoor sitting area and deck — ideal for morning coffee or evening sunsets. Every detail was well considered, from the cozy furnishings to the fully equipped kitchen. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-appointed retreat.

These guys do a great job!

Peaceful with gorgeous views!

Everything was incredible! The views, the house, and the location were exactly what we were looking for. Loved spending the day hiking and coming home to the hot tub. Enjoyed all of our meals on the deck taking in the scenery. Such a quiet and secluded area, we loved it and look forward to bringing friends with us next time!

An absolutely gorgeous stay!!

If you’re looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay, look no further! This host is attentive to the various amenities needed to have a wonderful time. The kitchen was our favorite - it allows whoever’s cooking to converse with the rest of the party, and that outdoor deck was definitely utilized! This house feels like a treasure, we definitely will be back!

Last trip for summer

Perfect location with gorgeous 😍 views. We were situated perfectly to golf at alderbrook and see friends from when we lived in that area. Hottub was nice to unwind at the end of the day. Very comfortable

A weekend getaway…..

Definitely coming back! I stayed here for only 2 nights with a couple of friends but had the most fun and relaxing time. We were amazed by not only the views, but amenities that made it easy for us to unwind. Everything was super clean and easy to navigate but whenever we had questions the host was very easy to get in touch with. We didn’t get to do everything this place had to offer so we can’t wait to come back. Thank you for our stay!

The most amazing views!

I brought my bestie & her girlfriends out to The Hood to celebrate her 50th Birthday & this home is perfect for special occasions! The cotton candy sunsets, quiet evenings & access to tasting rooms or Farm to Tables restaurants makes it a wonderful weekend get-away. It’s got everything you need & everyone can spread out while cooking, hot tubbing or watching the game on the huge TV’s. Thank you for making our weekend memorable & we will definitely be back ❤️

Amazing weekend getaway!!

This was the perfect weekend getaway from the city. Easy to get to, beautiful drive, and very scenic everywhere you turn. The house is gorgeous with large windows overlooking the canal and mountains. Plenty of cool art inside the house that gives each room a unique and personal touch as well. The large deck and hot tub were absolute highlights, especially for the bird watchers or star gazers. Host was very accommodating and made it feel like home! 10/10 recommend and will be coming back!

Perfect space for our ladies weekend

Loved it all. Great, comfortable hang out spaces, lots of throw blankets to get cozy with, beds were nice. The view, windows, deck and hot tub were the icing. Lovely! Our only issue was the weird lighting (either too bright or not enough depending on the area) throughout the house.

Annual Oyster fest gathering of families of lifelong friends.

Very near PERFECTION! Top of the line! Well appointed kitchen, baths, bedrooms even game/outdoor areas! Plenty of towels/ linens and cozy wraps to go around! The entire group was generally in awe of it all. Most of our stay simply relaxing & taking it all in. So many generous indoor & outdoor spaces to relish. Definitely plan on staying again. Our group could’ve used a family sized coffee maker (manager notified)

Superb location and very responsive host!

We had a wonderful stay at Loanne’s home. The house has superb views of hood canal and is worth it for views alone. It is equidistant from Mount Rainier & Olympic national parks (approx 2.5 hours), and 1.5 hours from SeaTac. We were 2 families (party of 8) and really enjoyed the home. Lots of space (2 living areas with big screen TVs), all appliances you can think of (Keurig, rice cooker, air fryer, OTG etc.), and a beautiful backyard & deck with a hot tub & firepit. Loanne was very responsive and a very good host. Overall, a great experience, and would recommend this home very highly to anyone visiting the Pacific Northwest.

Fantastic home and location

This property has the most beautiful windows, deck and views! The canal with the mountains in the backdrop were unreal. We made a few day trips to the national parks, just 2-2.5 hours away. We spent a few days at the house and enjoyed the area, eating out once and making meals in the kitchen or on the grill a few times. The home has everything you need. Well stocked kitchen and entertainment items, even cornhole boards, a hot tub and a fire pit (with wood provided!). The TVs were huge and the space allowed for fun family movie nights. They thought of everything with this home!

Stunning views

we loved this home for our family vacation. The oversized wall of windows was overlooking the Hood Canal with the snowcapped Olympic Mnts. in the background and nice weather, it was perfect. The only negatives were the only downstairs restroom stunk like waste, so that took us down a usable restroom. Also, even though we put in extra effort into cleaning and leaving as per all instructions the manager said we left it in bad condition, and this was absolutely false! So beware...take photos when you arrive and before you leave to show you left it as you found it! This was very disappointing and disheartening way to end an otherwise wonderful vacation.

Clean, well stocked, beautiful views

This home checked all the boxes to make the trip stress-free. It was clean, kitchen was well stocked with coffee, tea, spices, and miraculously, various ingredients that we forgot to pack. Check in was easy and the owner (or property manager?) was very responsive to questions. Not a crazy list of check-out tasks either. This place had lots of space to all gather around together, and various spaces if different groups wanted to do separate activities. The only real issue was that the listing mentioned there were two kayaks and said it was “just steps from kayaking, paddle boarding or hiking along the Sound,” but it turns out it was not in walking distance to water access, at least definitely not while carrying the kayaks, so we would have needed a truck or roof rack to get the kayaks down to the water. The cold water in the master bedroom bathtub did not work, so it was too scalding to be used. But not a huge deal since there was a hot tub and we could shower in the other bathroom.

A Slice of Heaven

I spent the last week at what I consider the best vacation rental I’ve ever visited. Great space? Check. Top notch amenities? Check. Perfect location? Check. Peace and relaxation? Double Check! I kind of don’t want to write this, because once this review gets out there, I may never get another shot at a reservation! Indeed, this is the perfect place to experience the Hood Canal (Sorry Alderbrook). The views from every room, including the patio are priceless. I sat for hours just admiring the majestic Olympic National Park, while absorbing the tranquility and serenity of the surrounding Hood Canal! Did I say peace and relaxation? Mind you, I was there with two teenage boys. There is enough space and separation for everyone to find their happy place. Have yourself a cup of coffee on the deck and listen to the ambient noise of working boats cruising up and down the Hood Canal, along with the diverse sound of the many bird species around the property. I felt thousands of miles away from the stressors of the city (and the job), yet it’s only 2 hours from Seattle. I did find my slice of heaven and you will too.

A MUST STAY HOUSE!!

I went for thanksgiving weekend with several of my friends, and it was the best stay I’ve ever had in any rental property. It was a busy weekend because of the holiday, but the owner was still so available for us and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The hot tub was a great way to beat the cold weather, there was an abundance of supplies, amazing kitchen set up (cookware and seasonings), beautiful views, nice fireplace, and extremely clean/tidy all over the house! We also loved the big sized jenga. We felt completely taken care of during our stay. There are no complaints on our end. We definitely will be booking another stay. The owner thought about everything in advance so we could have a worry free, relaxing weekend.

Great stay during the holidays!

We decided to book a stay here with some of our relatives to spend the holidays together and we had an amazing time! Right when we walked into the house, we noticed the beautiful view and the spacious area. In our group, we had both kids and adults and there were things for all of us to do! The weather was cold and snowy, so the coziness of this place made it all the better, especially the hot tub :) overall, we had everything that we needed and it made our stay stress-free, we will definitely be back! Thank you so much for hosting us!
