The host is very good at replying quickly to our questions Beautiful property. Met all expectations. A/C is a bonus. Very nice spacious summer home that was well stocked.
, plus our dog, had a wonderful stay as first timers to the island. The cottage was clean and comfortable and everything we needed. The view was breathtaking, and the island as a whole was stunning. It was so rejuvenating to focus on slowing down, enjoying nature and togetherness as a family. We would absolutely book again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.
We enjoyed our 5 day stay. It was very quiet and peaceful. The cottage had everything that we needed. The pups enjoyed the large lot. We liked listening to the water and the birds. We found plenty to keep us busy on the island. Thanks for sharing your space with us.
My family (husband, parents and almost 3 year old) spent 4 nights relaxing lake side. The house was great, plumber of space, clean and well stocked. Would definitely recommend staying.
The house comfortably holds a lot, even if you have 3 or 4 kids. This street is very quiet. If you know where to look you can see cedar point and Perry’s victory monument.cant see the sunset or sunrise but, that’s just down the road
This was a pleasant stay. My kids really enjoyed how large the lot was. Lots of room to run and play. The cottage has everything you need to feel at home. Our hosts were very easy to work with and very attentive. I would come back.
Due South is at a wonderful location on Pelee Island. We rode bikes and walked easily around the island. The cottage was well equipped and clean. The cottage is a little tired. We were surprised to learn we needed to bring sheets & towels. They did supply sheets after we pushed back but they did not fit the beds properly. We still give Due South a good rating because the location, the layout of the cottage, cleanliness and ease of usage was great.
Lucked out on this one. Southeast corner of Pelee Island, so the only traffic was bicycles and slow moving vehicles. Nobody seemed to be in a urry. No WiFi which was great! The teens had to learn card and board games. Enjoyed all the activities on the island - especially the E-bikes.
Has a lot of potential but needs a lot of work. Stove and oven were dirty and my wife cleaned them up. Deck was rotting to the point where some of the floorboards flipped up when we walked on it (we don't weigh much like 80-130lbs). Some cockroaches were observed. There were empty liquor bottles in the yard. Cleaning crew needs to do better and deck definitely needs to be repaired.
It was pleasant. Cell phone range wasn't great, there were 3 different cell providers from our group. Best to check your roaming etc. I would highly recommend that you provide WIFI as this is something that we really needed with not having great cell phone range. Especially the times we are in now! A little taken back by the house rules that I didn't see on the booking site. (garbage to be taken to the waste facility, additional cleaning charges maybe added) a cleaning fee is already included in rental fee. Great place, however.

Hi Karen,
Regrettably we cannot offer wifi for our guests at this time. The wifi is very poor on the island but good news is within 3 years there should be fibre optic. I will be looking into getting wifi for next summer in hopes there will be a service provider with a decent speed.
My apologies for not staying on Vrbo the house rules (garbage transfer), I have updated that now. There are no extra cleaning fees on top of the rental fee.
