About this property

Gite in Mas Provençal, all comforts, air-conditioned, with swimming pool

Located 7 km from Goudargues, it is in our Provençal farmhouse, built using dry stones, that the Mas de la Source gîte is located. It enjoys a pleasant panoramic view. It is positioned on the ground floor, its entrance is independent. We live on the upper level, without nuisance and opposite for you.
The cottage is air conditioned, it consists of a living room with fully equipped integrated kitchen area (oven, dishwasher, M.O), two bedrooms, a bathroom (with washing machine) and a WC independent.
A covered terrace, decorated with a garden furniture, a charcoal / wood barbecue, a pleasant swimming pool with swimming against the current, entirely enclosed by stone walls, will enhance your stay.
We can also make you taste the fruits, vegetables and aromatic herbs from our vegetable garden with ease.
The parking is private under an arbor, in the enclosed property of 4000m2 approx.
If you want a personalized welcome and support during your vacation, if you love authenticity, calm and nature then we will be delighted to welcome you and guide you in our Gard region.
Ideally located between Goudargues and Uzés, near the Céze river, we will suggest the discovery of unusual or picturesque places. The Pont du Gard, St Quentin la Poterie, La Roque sur Cèze, Cornillon, Lussan are all very close sites, which will be revealed during your visits.

Nice house with large garden and swimming pool, perfect base to explore region

Nice comfortable house, with a large garden and swimming pool. Perfectly located to explore the region. The owners gave very nice tips for visits and hikes. The apartment itself is fully equipped and comfortable, although the interior could be improved a bit to give it more charm and 'warmth'. Good to know that the owners live in the other part of the house so sometimes it lacks a bit of privacy.

We are always delighted that the families we welcome to Le Mas de la source find what they aspire to: calm tranquility, cleanliness, apartment facilities that comply with the description or the photos and comments of other holidaymakers. The interior fittings are of course suitable for couples with or without children, but also for families with very young children. Board games and a box of toys are available. We live as specified in the description on site. This had the advantage of being able to offer you, our organic vegetables from the garden and eggs from the henhouse.... Wonderful property in a beautiful and quite are with excellent hosts

The appartment is very nice, clean and confortable with beautiful surroundings. Kitchen is perfectly equipped and beds are very confortable. Christophe was very helpful and responded to our needs immediately. He was also very kind on providing us w/ tips for places to visit. The pool, park and "petanque" court are fantastic. We woul definetlz book it gain. We hope we can come back!

The gite was complete and everything you need was there. It was very clean and brand new. Jean Christophe and Nelly were very kind and always available to help with advises about things to see and to do in the aeria. The sunset from the terrace was wonderfull.....the cevennes far away. Very good and nice adres to stay...we will come again!

Perfect hosts

We spent two wonderful weeks with 5 adults at Nelly & Jean Christoph. They are the perfect hosts, very friendly and always helpful in finding nice trips in the area. The beautiful apartment has a large garden and a swimming pool. Everything is very well maintained with a lot of love for details. Furthermore, we were regularly supplied with vegetables and fruits from their own garden and with eggs from on-site chickens and quails. Many thanks to you both! We can highly recommend this location.

Fraai gelegen en goed uitgeruste cottage!

We have been here from 16th till 30th of July and have enjoyed the well equipped cottage and the friendly and very warm hospitality of the owners Jean Christophe and Nelly. Also both our children were satisfied because Wifi was working very well (also outside the house) and we enjoyed the luxury of a private swimming pool (8m x 4m). The view from the terrace is lovely and also the direct environment is suitable for daytrips like canoeing (river Ceze), swimming near several nice beaches in the river and in the evening going out for dinner in good restaurants in Goudargues. Especially Uzes and Orange are recommended places to visit (also for shopping)and good to reach by car. In short fine place for a good price situated in an area with many possibilities and daily good summer weather to enjoy. Highly recommended!

Great hosts and a Perfect Getaway

Our family of four (2 and 4 year old kids) travelled to France from Vancouver, Canada for a four month adventure. We were lucky enough to book with Jean-Christophe and Nelly. The gite was perfect for our family. The yard was perfect for our kids to play in and we took advantage of the swimming pool. Our kids loved the ducks and chickens on the property. Jean-Christophe and Nelly were such wonderful hosts our kids would get excited and jump up and down when they came back to the property....they still ask about them. The location is outside a little outside a village but for us was perfect. There are lots of charming villages near by, outdoor activities and food and wine adventures. Each day we would see tourist sites, markets or get out in nature, most drives were only 30-60 minutes away. Of all the places we stayed, we think back most fondly of our time here with the most wonderful hosts of our trip! We're looking forward to coming back again.

Wonderful stay

Our family of 5 (3 children aged 3, 7 and 8 yrs old) had a blast at the "mas de la source". We stayed for 14 days but could easily have filled 1 whole month discovering the beautiful region. There are so many things to visit, Jean Christophe and his wife Nelly are great hosts that know the surroundings very well. They helped us a lot to find our way in the wider region: Pont du Gard, Uzès and his market, beautiful villages as Lussan and Montclus, Pont d'Arc and Gorges de l'Ardèche, "accrobranche" (too much fun for both children and parents!), peaceful walks between the wild lavender fields around Saint-André-d'Olerargues to Verfeuil and Montèze, "les Concluses" (wonder of nature), "baignades" in the river Cèze, the waterfalls of Sautadet, festival of Avignon, "la manade du joncas" (course camarguaise only 5 minutes away a must see!) etc. etc. The property is very well situated, and well equipped. During the hot days the pool was very refreshing, there is a big terrace with a lot of shadow, a very nice garden (with vegetable garden, we appreciated the little presents from this garden: raspberries, strawberries, beetroot,... thank you Nelly!). Inside the house there is AC, we slept in very good beds. Both hosts are bilingual (French and English) and are eager to help you with all your questions ex. find a local shop/producer (honey/olive oil). We highly recommend staying at this place!

Venant de suisse et habitant un petit village tranquille au bord du Gros de Vaud, nous avons appréciés la tranquillité du lieu ainsi que le bel et agréable espace extérieur au abord même de la terrasse couverte, de la piscine et de l'espace, avec table et bancs, pour les grillades. Vacances en famille avec visite dans le Gard et l'Ardèche

Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances. Depuis de nombreuses années nous restons en France. Chez Nelly et Jean-CHristophe était la meilleure adresse! Mehr Ruhe und Entspannung geht nicht!

Sehr schönes Anwesen und super nette Vermieter. die Wohnung hat alles an Komfort was man zu Hause hat und zusätzlich einen wunderschönen sauberen und gut gepflegten 10 m Pool direkt vor der Terrassentür . Alle technischen Geräte sind da und alles funktioniert tadellos und ist im besten Zustand. Alles ist pickobello sauber!! Die Gegend ist super ruhig Keine Strasse, keine Eisenbahn! "nur Naturgeräusche"- da zählen auch mal ein Rasenmäher und musizierende Nachbarn dazu- und das, wenn überhaupt, tagsüber und eigentlich nur die Einsamkeit hier vergessen machend. Einkaufen, Restaurants in einem wirklich netten und sehr einladenden Ort 8km entfernt. Auch mit Rad machbar- wenig Verkehr dort insgesamt. Von uns aus 7 von 5 Sterne und ein Merci beaucoup! Wir haben schon wieder gebucht.

Belle propriété pour passer de bonnes vacances

Des vacances ressourçantes et ensoleillées

Très satisfaits de notre séjour au mois d'août: accueil chaleureux de Jean-Christophe et Nelly avec de supers conseils pour visiter cette belle région ensoleillée (balades nature, villages à ne pas manquer, fêtes locales, mais aussi sentiers pour pratiquer le trail!), logement confortable avec tout l'équipement requis pour un séjour en famille réussi (avec 2 enfants en bas âge nous concernant), sans parler de la piscine et du jardin bien entretenus dont nous avons bien profité durant tout le séjour. En prime, un beau panorama depuis la terrasse et de magnifiques couchers de soleil! Sans parler de la balançoire et des petites poules beaucoup appréciées par nos enfants. Bref, nous recommandons vivement cet hébergement pour sa qualité, sa situation, et l'accueil des hôtes!

Sejour tout confort dans un très beau cadre

C’est la première fois que nous louions la même maison que des propriétaires. Nelly et Jean Christophe font le maximum pour que le séjour se passe bien et sont très discrets. Rien à redire tout etait très propre, la piscine magnifique et bien entretenue. La climatisation a été aussi très appréciée ainsi que le spectacle des magnifiques couchers de soleil chaque soir. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Mooi en rustig verblijf in het mooie binnenland

We kunnen het hebben over het huisje, de mooie ligging, de toeristische attracties in de nabijheid, hoe het daar zelfs zonder de airco nog koel blijft, maar wat ons het meeste bijblijft is de zonsondergang die we 's avonds zagen op het terras. Puur genieten. We denken graag terug aan de gastvrijheid van de eigenaars, en de grappige opmerkingen die uit de mouw werden geschud.

Séjour au calme avec une magnifique vue

La location est propre, fonctionnelle et décorée avec goût. La piscine et la climatisation ont été très appréciées pendant la période de canicule. Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt in diesem tollen Anwesen. Die ganze Familie hat sich außerordentlich wohlgefühlt, sowohl im Haus (überdachte Terrasse sowohl bei Sonne als auch bei Regen - perfekt), am Pool wie auch mit den sehr herzlichen Gastgebern!!! In der Nähe laden viele kleine Dörfer und Städte zur Besichtigung ein; das Baden in den Flüssen war auch super! Für Ausflugstipps konnten wir immer die Gastgeber zu Rate ziehen. Alles war so wie auf der Homepage beschrieben. Von uns klare 5 Sterne in allen Kategorien und auf jeden Fall eine besondere Empfehlung!

Séjour parfait

Accueil très chaleureux avec beaucoup de conseil de sorties. Gîte propre et joliment décoré, fonctionnel, avec terrasse ombragée très appréciée, BBQ en dur. La piscine était très propre et tout aussi agréable. Il manque juste quelques produits de base en fond de roulement (condiments et entretien). Vu avec les propriétaires, le Covid est passé par là… Grand merci à Jean Christophe pour sa gentillesse, ses blagounettes et tous ses conseils avisés. Nous recommandons chaleureusement cette location. Kenavo :)

séjour reposant - calme assuré

nous avons apprécié l'emplacement pour sa tranquillité. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants, discrets mais toujours présents pour vous proposer des endroits à visiter, pour vous guider et vous conseiller (balade, resto...) La piscine est bien entretenue et disponible à tout moment. Le jardin est vaste (espace pour jouer à la pétanque , au molkky....). Ce gite est idéal pour 4 personnes. La terrasse ombragée vous permet de manger à l'extérieur. Bref, nous vous recommandons ce lieu.

Hübsche Ferienwohnung mit schönem Blick in ruhiger Lage

Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Fotos stimmen mit der Wirklichkeit überein. Die Lage ist traumhaft mit schönem Blick. Der große Pool stand uns jederzeit zur Verfügung. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich. Wir wurden mit tollen Tipps für Besuche in der Umgebung ausgestattet und bekamen sogar das perfekte Kartenmaterial dazu. Vielen Dank auch für die leckeren Tomaten und Pflaumen aus eigenem Garten. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

I (Jean-Christophe) am a fireman, and my wife is a psysiotherapist. We revitalize ourselves in the calm environment of our Mas. We also like to go running and biking in the countryside. The upkeep of the garden and of some chickens provides us simple and healthy meals.

The Mas de la Source is ideally situated, between Uzès and Goudargues. It provides a rapid access to local markets (wine, honey, jam, aromatic herbs), and to biking and walking trails.
The Mas de la Source is at a short ride from many historical and cultural sites (Pont du Gard, St Quentin-la-Poterie, la Roque sur Cèze, Cornillon, Lussan...).
