We're so glad you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for your 5 star review!
The place was very conveniently located and functional for our purposes. The screened porch area was really nice in the morning. It was a little funky/quirky. No ac unit for the downstairs so the time of year would make a difference to stay here. Stairs were very steep and we were very careful going up and down. Very simple and limited toiletries available. It provided what we needed… we mostly just slept and showered there. What is provided is pretty simple- not fancy, but fully functional. Ours was a good stay.

Thank you so much for your kind review! We’re delighted to hear that you had a pleasant stay. The house is equipped with central air and heating to ensure a comfortable environment year-round, and the additional A/C units upstairs provide extra cooling during the warmer summer months. For guests’ convenience, we also provide basic toiletries so you can settle in comfortably and make the most of your time without any extra preparation. We truly appreciate your feedback and are glad your experience was positive.
We enjoyed the charm of this older home. Very spacious and impeccably clean! Perfect central location for out trips to caves and Dinosaur World. 10 out of 10 would book again!
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. This was a lovely old home and the owners were excellent hosts. We were able to enjoy fun days out seeing the area and quiet evenings at the house. I hope to stay again.
Our family of 7 stayed here for the week and it was perfect for us. Our kids are 13-23 and we had plenty of room and comfortable beds. We enjoyed the screened in patio and porch swing for those cool Kentucky mornings. The house was clean and well stoked with what we needed. Will definitely stay here again when we come back.
Visiting from Michigan. My sister lives in Glasgow, so we needed somewhere close to her. This place was perfect. Really nice home owners. Easy to work with. House was clean, quiet and comfortable.
Very nice place in a quaint town. Within easy walking distance of the town square that has lovely shops, coffee house, bakery, and ice cream shop, to name a few. Our destination was Mammoth Cave, which was an easy 30 minute drive. We ate at one of the recommended Mexican restaurants and were very impressed; margaritas and home-made salsa didn't disappoint. We cooked several meals at the VRBO and it was equipped with adequate supplies (could use some microwaveable dishware). All the rooms were comfortable. They had a good supplies of board games for both adults and kids. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Great House
Great location to visit Mammoth Cave NP, Bowling Green and Diamond Caverns. Right on the outskirts of Glasgow with 4 good size bedrooms, a functional kitchen and dining area and a great den area. We had plenty of room for 5 adults and 3 children. The beds were very comfortable and the internet was top notch. We highly recommend this rental.
This house is gorgeous and big enough for families with kids if all ages. There's so much to do around the house that's close and the whole process was a breeze and so simple! Bonus the air works great in this house as well as upstairs in each room! My kids loved the old styled bathtubs too!
The house has great character, real classic. The bedrooms are good size. Having a dining room was great, because we choice to cook in most of the evenings. Spent alot of time in sunroom and outside with corn hole boards. Thank you so much fir sharing your home with us.

Walking into this house was like walking in our grandparents house. Unique layout, lots of quilts, and antiques. Our property manager was great, reaching out to us before our stay and giving us up to date information about where we were going, weather, etc. We had one problem while we were there and we had no problems getting ahold of them and getting the problem fixed quickly. An ironing board and iron would be a nice addition. Bathrooms are small as is typical in a house the age of this one. Over all a good stay!!

From the owner: “I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay at our house in Glasgow, KY! Just letting you know that we're adding a clothing steamer for our guests to use. We're reluctant to have an iron-on property. Hope you visit again!"
It was ok, it was decently clean and the owners were nice but a little hard to get ahold of. Overall it wasn't terrible but idk if we'd choose it gain. It's pretty busy right there and the house needs a bit of work.

Owner's response: "Patrick, We strive with each guest to give them the 5-star experience we are used to delivering. We are sorry if you did not feel you received this and only thought your visit to our home was okay. - We contacted you about a couple of issues that came up while you were in the home as quickly as possible. Although it took me a while to respond on Saturday while I was working you were taken care of within a couple of hours. - The listing gives the location and age of the home, we are located about 3 blocks from the town square and we understand it can be a bit busy. - We are not sure what things you feel need to be done at the house, but we make updates and changes as needed to ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests. We apologize for any inconvenience, but you did indicate that you were fine. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for."
Nice property. House has great flow—can move around easily from room to room. Screened in porch was a bonus room for sitting outdoors even through some rain showers. Easy walk to Gorin Park with playground for kids, lots of fresh air and picnic tables, and to listen to bird calls. Some interesting houses nearby with historical markers. Didn’t walk to town center but was within walking distance for added local variety. The house worked out well for our family.
This comfortable historic home was the perfect place to stay with my daughter while visiting extended family in the area.
I loved the beautiful hard wood floors, fire place mantle details and natural light through all big windows. The front porch had a large porch swing and the screened in porch was a great place for coffee in the morning.
I was even able to host my siblings with their families for dinner and Scrabble games.
The dining room is just the perfect size for small dinner parties. (6-8 people).
It’s located close to the historic town square and convenient to access main roads and grocery stores! Parking is easy to locate and while it’s not covered it is paved.
I will look forward to staying again in the summer when we can make use of the large yard.
Note: there are a few items to consider when staying in a historic/older home.
Furnace registers/vents rattle - if they aren’t fully open or closed.
Exterior doors have extra latches - use them so the wind can’t blow the door open.
Some of the flooring is a bit uneven.
There were a few issues with items that need to be brought to the attention of the property owner.
