Our group of five had a fantastic time at this property! Beautifully decorated, cozy beds, plenty of spaces to gather, and easy communication with the host. We really enjoyed coffee on the back porch and hanging out in the hot tub in the evening. Highly recommend for a comfortable Pittsburgh stay!
We loved this VRBO! It was a great place for our two families. The beds were unexpectedly so comfy! I’ve stayed in many guest homes through Vrbo - these were the best beds!! The kids loved the hot tub and we would absolutely stay again!! Thank you to the hosts for an easy change in moving the reservation to another member of our family after we were going to be held up getting in. Great experience!
Overall the home was very nice however we could not get the tv in the bedroom with the queen size bed to work. Overall it was a good experience and the home is nice. Decor is very cute as well. Check in was easy and so was check out. I didnt even need to contact the host.
Needs some maintenance and dusting! Lots of insects patio furniture is molded. Torch cans have holes in them! No coffee pot but the inside is gorgeous just needs dusting!
Overall the property was great. It had enough room for my family to all have their own space, and it was clean and nice.
Unfortunately we had issues with the main tv when we arrived, but the next day maintenance came out and fixed the problem. All in all the stay was great.
Only reason it’s not 5 star for our stay is due to the updates couches. The photos show couches with a recliner, which was something my grandmother needed for her sleeping arrangements and one of the main reasons we booked this location. Unfortunately there were no recliners in the current homes layout.
All in all my family enjoyed their stay and felt safe.
Great location for us. Quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed the deer families visits every day. Nice decor. Enjoyed the hot tub. Cushions outside need cleaned or replaced. Too much overgrowth of bushes and ivy (starting to wrap around the grill). Downstairs toilet very cramped with laundry and hotwater tank. Glad we had it when there's 3 of us and just one bathroom. Would be nice to see more kitchen cookware and items. We purchased and donated a glass pan and pot.
This space is not great, but it’s adequate. If you are looking for a place to lay your head that has space, this is it. Parking is nice, it’s close enough to town, and overall it’s not awful.
BUT- there are some things that need attention, which I have mentioned to the management team and VRBO, and will share with you.
It wasn’t clean. My kids found underwear from the previous renters in their bedroom, there was laundry in the dryer, hair in the tub, crumbs in the kitchen, and still sidewalk salt in a bag on the steps, despite it being June. The cushions for the outside furniture were filthy, and clearly are left out all the time, making the moldy and stained.
It wasn’t fully safe. There was exposed and unfinished electrical work, overgrown thorny roses on the deck, and nightshade - a poisonous plant- maturing to berries in the plant boxes. A lightbulb had previously broken, and it was left without the bulb, but with exposed filament.
It wasn’t fully honest. The security camera watching the “side yard” looks out at the hot tub, something not disclosed in the rental information. The grill that was there was not functional, and the management company “could not get in touch with maintenance” to resolve the issue, despite saying someone would be available 24/7 to solve any problem we would have.
If you are coming for a game and need a place to crash, this is fine. But I will not bring my family here again.
