This cozy entire second floor unit (750 sqft) with a separate entrance is suitable for a full family to rest and enjoy. The unit has a living room, two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a kitchenette (4.3 square meters). Main bedroom has a Queen bed, the second bedroom has one daybed that could be converted into two individual twin beds (67" length) and one folding sofa bed (48" x 72"). An additional sleeping place is available in the living room, a sofa bed (Double size 55"x80"). The kitchenette (4.3 square meters) has: a fridge, a dishwasher, a toaster, a kettle, a coffee maker, a slow cooker, a sink, and 30L 1500 Watt multifunctional toaster oven (tray 14x12 inch) with a dual hot plates cook top 900 and 500 Watt - possible to fry eggs and cook non large volume of simple food (oven & hot plate heating cannot be used simultaneously). The one sink full bathroom has a shower with a bathtub (length 56", width 27", depth 14"). A double sink full bathroom has a shower cabin. The backyard has a picnic area and a gas barbeque (two or three burners). Parking is on a driveway in front of the home (maximum 3 cars).. This beautiful place may accommodate up 4 adults and 2-3 children (or maximum 5-6 adults). Reservation of this unit for seven persons and more is possible after an additional request and approval. This place is surrounded by tranquil forest and backing onto a creek with easy access to Tunstall Bay Beach (800 m-8 mins by walking), Cape Rogers Curtis Beach (2.8 km), Golf Club and numerous hiking trails. It is 7-10 min by car to restaurants, cafes, sushi, a pizzeria, boutique shops at Bowen Island Village, Artisan Place and a ferry terminal. Public transportation is available - a local bus (280 route). Come to relax and listen birds in the morning and sit by the creek on the hot afternoons.

We had a great stay! The place was clean, comfortable and such beautiful natural light! Check-in was seamless, and the host was very responsive, graciously accommodating an early check-in, which we really appreciated. The location was convenient, though having a car is recommended. All in all, a great experience, we’d happily stay here again!
Perfect for an evening getaway. A close walk to the beach, cozy, and the kitchenette was well equipped.

Awesome place to stay, especially for business. Great host who will help you out with anything you need. Very clean, quiet, and private. Excellent, peaceful surroundings.
Property was just a listed. Looked very new and clean. Kitchen was very small but had everything you would need. The restaurants on the island were great. Had a great weekend.

My friend and I stayed at Charming Nest for two night with two teens. The place is amazing. You can't beat the location, it is just 5 min walking distance from the Tunstal Bay. The place is exceptionally clean and has everything that is listed.
Very impressed with this beautiful place. The owners went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They were particularly helpful with our children and ensuring the accommodations were suited to them. Thank you!
We had a short one night stay. Very impressed with the accommodation overall. As the photos indicate the kitchen is tiny tiny but well equipped even with a handy mini dishwasher and oven/cooktop. Would recommend for a group of 4-6.

Nice floor plan. Clear instructions from owner. Lovely surroundings, very tranquil.
We had not stayed on that part of the island prevopusly. There were very good trails near by. Charming Nest could have more island maps.Very comfortable quarters. Stove top was not all that useful but there is a microwave abd electric kettle.Overall we were comfortable and also enjoyed the backyard. Thanks

We are not able to provide specific topographic maps for each area on Bowen Island. Google Map is available and it may satisfy all specific requirements in maps for free. Charming Nest has high speed internet to get any map if you needed it. Moreover, we have left to you specially our contacts for assistance. You didn’t ask any help from us after your arrival in Charming Nest. 2. Stove top is absolutely useful to fry eggs and cook non-large simple meals as it was described on VRBO site. If the “stove top was not all that useful” it wouldn’t be certified and sold in Canada. You have forgotten to write that kitchenette had a toaster-oven, a slow cooker, a coffee maker, a bread toaster – not just a microwave, and a kettle. Thank you very much. This was a lovely accommodation with very accommodating hosts! It slept 4 adult people comfortably - any more adults might be too much.
The beautiful large tub in the bathroom was so very inviting but was unavailable - a difficult tease! Very clean and well kept! Thank you!
The listing is accurate and it was a very clean place to stay. Check in instructions were clear and easy. We enjoyed our time!
The only thing is that we were afraid to use any of the apartment items as there were signs everywhere instructing us on proper usage and fees if things were not cleaned up to the owners standards. I understand that being a host is difficult and perhaps the owners have had some bad luck with previous visitors. However, the fees for both gathering towels, taking out the trash, having leaves on the steps, checking for leaks and clogs before checking out, etc. made us a bit uneasy. There were signs on every trashcan and on every appliance, and many walls and items.

You absolutely right this unit is “very clean” because we take care about healthy environment for rest of our guests. We hire cleaning service for this.
You made very interesting conclusion about clear and easy instructions. I am hearing the first time in my life “instructing in proper usage” may scare people to use items. Usually, absence of instructions in "proper usage" creates problem in using items for people. Nobody has complained before that instruction such as “It is better do not flash hygienic items in a toilet” or “Please remove food scraps from dishes before loading in a dish washer” or “Remove a garbage” made them “a bit uneasy”. We checked every item (device) after your review and we didn’t find “signs” that we asked to “clean them up” according to “owners standard”. Did you see any our asking to clean up an oven, a cook top, a toaster, a coffee maker, a slow cooker, any sink or something else? I have doubts that you have seen them. Unfortunately, you forgot to write what was real: we ask our guests to leave street shoes on the first floor. As result, tree “leaves” are not supposed to be on a step and on the second floor in a living zone. We charge minimal cleaning fee ($50) for proper cleaning this 2BDR and 2BTH unit In order do not increase general price suggesting that guests will follow rules. If guests use street shoes in a living zone, don’t remove garbage, don’t gather towels and so on, cleaning company increases price for us. It is choice of guests to follow rules or to pay additional fee for cleaning or plumber services. VRBO and AIRBNB rules supposes to request additional cleaning fee if it is applicable. These instructions help our guests don't pay avoidable fees especially for plumbing services in self-checking in and self-checking out units.
You are welcome to come again. We will apply all our efforts to make your rest pleasant and easy.
