About this property

Waterfront Cottage with Superb Coastline Views in West Vancouver

Relax at this waterfront oasis with unbeatable views of the ocean, islands, and coastline. With private seaside terraces and garden patios overlooking Howe Sound, you will be able to enjoy the peacefulness of this property. You will be surrounded by towering cedars and firs, yet the large windows let in plenty of natural light. The cottage is located next to Sunset Marina and just minutes to Gleneagles Rec Center & Golf Course, as well as Caulfeild Village. Our cottage is just 25 minutes from the top of Cypress Mountain, and 75 minutes from Whistler Resort!


The property is located on the water! There is a funicular to take you from the road down to the waterfront home. On the main floor is the living room with floor to ceiling windows with impressive views, dining room, kitchen, primary bedroom, and one bathroom. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one bathroom. A newly built deck overlooking the water makes for peaceful mornings and evenings with unbeatable views.

*NOTE*: In the winter months, typically between Dec. 1-Feb. 28th, if the temperature is below zero, there is the potential that there will be no water due to frozen pipes. We will work with each guest individually to reimburse you.

HOUSE MANUAL:
-the fireplace in the living room is not functional and has been decommissioned.
-There is room for two cars only in the parking area
-Please no shoes in the house
-Quiet hours are from 9pm-8am. Please be respectful of our neighbours- any incurred fines will be charged to the guests.
-Any guests visiting in addition to those staying at the cottage are required to have pre-authorization by manager prior to stay.
-No smoking inside or on property
-Please clean up after your pet inside and outside.
-Children must always be supervised when they are on or by the water or using any watercraft.
-water access can be difficult from front of property, so please be cautious.
-Fire Extinguisher is in the front hall closet on main floor as well as at the top of the stairs, on the left, on the top floor.

Absolutely amazing! Close to everything and super quiet. View was spectacular and it was accessible by a funicular. Two seals stopped by daily and the sunsets were beautiful. The host respects privacy, as we didn’t see him at all. It’s great if you are travelling with teens, as they had their own space upstairs with a washroom and shower! Incredible outdoor space. Would love to come back!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy home near Horseshoe Bay! The location was serene and perfectly nestled for exploring the beauty of the area. One of the highlights? Our daily visits from a few curious seals who popped by like clockwork—such a magical, unexpected treat! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend to anyone looking to unwind and soak in some nature (with a side of adorable marine life).

Retreat in the northwest

My family booked a week's stay here. We wanted a home base to explore the area and have some quality family time. The rental was beautiful. We had ages from elementary school to senior adults and it was perfect for all of us. We really like being able to wash clothes while traveling and prepare our own healthy meals. This property had both amenities. Our kids LOVED the hillevator. I am not sure if that was their favorite part or the whales that swam by 3 of the evenings. Overall, it was a great stay. The only tip I would suggest is to plan on smaller kids in the pullout couch bed, as it wasn't really that comfortable for my larger teen. I don't think it would be great for adults either. When we switched and put the elementary child to sleep there, he slept well. We would love to stay here again for future travels.
