Feb-March 2026: cockroaches in abundance when we moved in. 2x pest control visits required, and organised reasonably promptly by the realestate. An ongoing issue when we left despite proactive use of cockroach traps, spraying and keeping it clean. Location is excellent. Pool is clean. We rarely used the balcony as next door chain-smoked. Parking was easy with ample visitor parking.
The apartment is very suitable for single/couples, in a good location to access CBD and South Bank and was clean and had a well stocked Kitchen and washing machine. Communication with Host, Brigette, was excellent.
Start of my first two weeks migrating to Australia and a perfect location to operate from; able to easily walk/ferry to the CBD to get documentation and forms done, and easy driving distance to the area I was looking to rent a house to do property inspections.
Place was clean and had what I needed for my stay; well positioned and very nice area. Not a major for me, but a few lights out needing replacement, so a couple of maintenance issues, but no major for me. In overall, excellent for my needs and made the transition to another country easier, thx.

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
When we arrived at about 6:30pm the apartment had not been cleaned after the previous guest. We're tolerant people, and after contacting the host about it we were happy enough to go out for dinner and a river walk to allow time for a cleaner to be contacted. It was beautifully clean (with a strong bleach smell) when we got back in, and we were glad for the clean sheets. However the wi-fi never worked the whole 5 nights we were there, even though we contacted the host about it. She offered to reimburse us, but nothing has materialised in the 13 days since....The unit itself is nice, and we enjoyed the location. The smoke detector is far too close to the stove and on our last morning (a Saturday) I set it off while using the frypan even with the stove's extraction fan running. It took me a while to find the building manager's phone number to work out how to reset the alarm (it was on his door, on the ground floor). I was glad the fire alarm panel was not connected to the fire station and there was no call-out, although there might be a concern about what would happen if there was a real fire.
Well suited for solo long term stay (3 months). Kitchen well equipped for real use. Small gym on premises was a blessing. Sufficient room for 1 person. Well located for access to pub, restaurant, cafes, convenient store, pedestrian bridge to CBD, ferry landing. Kangaroo Point itself is terrific.Noise was bit much at times - Story Bridge, pub, neighbors - especially with patio doors open. Privacy awkward - close blinds to change clothes. Carpet & upholstery showing age, but manageable. Overall good value and very functional.
