About this property
Logwood Cabin Pre Civil War
Pre-Civil War Log cabin Cabin Creekwood is a family-owned business providing relaxing getaways in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia since 1982. Cabin sizes vary, with individual units accommodating up to 10 people. Larger groups can rent two or more cabins that are in close proximity.
Each cabin is fully furnished, with full kitchen, bathroom(s), living room, bedroom(s), and private outdoor space.
The cabins are all heated and air conditioned. In addition to the thermostatically-controlled heat, our fireplaces, gas logs, or wood-burning stoves provide a special ambiance.

Host was very informative and helpful. The cabin itself is in need of cleaning. Opened a window and numerous dead bugs inside of the opening. This was an issue for all windows on the second floor. There were nail heads sticking out on some of the floors which caused my husband to scrape his foot. The shower curtain was broken and held up with painter's tape and there was no holder for the shower head.

Rustic mountain getaway left us rested for the holiday season!!
Favorite place was awesome comforter on the main bed.
Needed short instructions about getting heat options started in cold weather. Showering is challenging.
Refrigerator outside (especially by stove) needs cleaning between guests.
Otherwise wonderful!!
One of the most serene places I've stayed in-wish we booked for longer! Beds are super comfortable, everything is clean, and loved the beautiful backyard.

We had a very nice stay at this property. The place was clean and equipped with everything we needed. This was a very peaceful retreat and we would definitely stay there again.
Cabin is fantastic. Clean and cozy and the creek runs underneath the back porch. The ceilings are a little low but I'm 6ft tall and had no issues. Great place to stay for a night or two.
It was a quiet little cabin with history. Close to a lot hiking trails. We loved it. We will definitely be back also be prepared for the scavenger hunt with in the cabin.

The setting in rural Virginia along a creek was beautiful, restful and serene. The Pre-Civil War log cabin was comfortable, fully equipped and rustic inside and out. What a fantastic experience 👍 and recommend it highly.
If you enjoy quaint and roughing it a little then this would be your pick. It sits right on a busy highway so a little noisy, but very quaint. No cell service and wifi is at best patchy, so a good off the grid getaway! Hiking trails a plenty!
What a neat little place to stay. I brought my Doberman and she absolutely hated the place. I got the vibe from her that it may be haunted, Although my wife and I saw noting out of the ordinary and were very satisfied with the place... My dog would not come around the couch by the fireplace. She also would not go upstairs. The backyard has a wonderful little stream and the back pouch is amazing.

We were here 2 years ago. Loved it. Now no ledger to sign in and read everyone else's stories. No dollar bill hunt in the cracks. Wifi was unplugged. 2 tvs dish on the roof. No stations. It has lost a lot of charm. We won't be back. It was clean. Consider upgrading the toilet bigger seat. and shower at least a place to hold the shower head.
