This was a very family friendly location, with a good yard to play in, a short drive to the pier and beaches with playgrounds, and very close to the historic district and shopping downtown! The home was comfortable and had a decent amount of dishes to use!

Spacious and comfortable! Loved the backyard and firepit!Flat pillows and beds were a bit hard. Slight hiccup with the shower off the kitchen…faucet hard to turn on and off.We had been told that there were some paper plates and if more were needed we would need to buy some. There were none. Overall we were quite happy.

Manistee vacation home

We had a great stay at the house. The location was very close to the beach via drive (possibly not a bad walk, but with three small kids, we needed to drive). The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed (ie plenty of towels, nice beds, plenty of storage, washer/dryer). The fire pit was also popular with everyone (loved the chairs!).

Cute quiet house

Nice house in a very quiet neighborhood. Near beaches and downtown. House was well equipped and would comfortably sleep 8. Host had thought of a lot of nice touches such as games, blow dryers, and even had coffee and filters waiting for us. Certainly a great stay for the price!

A Bit of Country in the City

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The home was clean and provided all the essentials. The back yard was very private and I enjoyed morning coffee on the deck while watching the local deer family. Location could not be any better, less than 5 minutes to the beach and very quick drive to downtown. We hope to return next summer!

Manistee Vacation

The home was very clean and well-laid out. The 12-year old enjoyed the playroom in the basement. The deck was great. A family of deer passed through the open space behind the back. The outside of the home was average, but the inside was very nice. Recommended.

The property was great. Very clean and perfectly located with deer visiting us every morning. I enjoyed taking morning walks to the beach. The only issues that I had were that a blind in one of the bedrooms was missing a significant amount of slats. I took a picture for the owner and secured a hand towel to cover the area. The owner did offer to send someone out to repair but I felt uncomfortable with having someone at the home when we weren't there. The second issue was the kitchen is minimally stocked. A suggestion is to let future guests know so that they can bring additional cookware as needed. Thanks for the opportunity. We will definitely be back!
