Our cottage is a beautiful and authentic mountain chalet overlooking the plateau and Lake Confins at 1500 m altitude, at the foot of the Aravis mountain range.

An ideal place to indulge in daydreaming, walking or hiking. Summer and winter the Confins plateau in La Clusaz, will fill your holiday memories.
you will enjoy the south-facing terrace overlooking the valley and the lake of the borders.
you can stroll through our garden to discover the aromatic and medicinal plants of the mountains, the life of the pond and the farmyard. a place of poetry and surprises.

In winter, go skiing on foot or on downhill and cross-country skiing, and for many snowshoeing trips.

In the summer the mountain awaits you for multiple walks and hikes in the combes of Aravis, lake of tardevant, the hole of the fly ...

Great location for a family

Great spot for a family. Walking distance to trails, restaurants, stores, even an outdoor play space for kids (with ponies and a zip line). The view from the backyard is incredible. Reminder- you need to rent your own bedsheets and towels in town.

Beautiful place to stay

Nice house with very friendly owners. Kitchen was well equipped with dish washer and two refrigerators. The location of the house is a little outside of la Clusaz but absolutely no problem by car. Furthermore there is a very good (ski) bus route to the city centre free of charge. Thank you for hosting us, Would love to come back some day.

Exceeding all expectations

In summary: -Although the chalet does not the most modern beds, kitchen and sanitary, it is clean and very complete. Everything you need to stay there with 3 families is in the house, including sledges for the kids to play in the snow. -The common spaces (kitchen, dinning room and living room) are excellent and very pleasant. -They are sufficient bathrooms and bedrooms in different sizes and # of beds. -The surroundings and views from the chalet are stunning. The moment you arrive, you enter into a holiday mode. -The hosts are very hospitable, caring and keen to ensure that you got everything you need. -I would like to come back.

Extraordinaire

Le site est tout simplement exceptionnel, tout à la fois proche de la clusaz et suffisamment éloigné pour être tranquille. De nombreux départs de randonnée sont à proximité immédiate et la vue est absolument splendide. Un joli jardin avec terrasse permet de profiter de la vue, du calme et et de l’ambiance, le chalet est très confortable, mais est resté très authentique. Un vrai lieu de ressourcement.

Séjour Neige Le Vieux Madrier

Très bon accueil du propriétaire. A l'écoute de nos demandes. Chalet idéalement placé en montagne, entouré de neige, même en ces périodes de faible enneigement. Facilité d'accès aux pistes de La Clusat avec les navettes. Possibilité d'accéder aux pistes du Grand Bornand par navette à partir de la gare routière (1/4 d'heure). Chalet familial pour 15 personnes avec chambres et salle de bain séparées, parfait pour un peu d'intimité. Nous recommandons.

Vacances au pied des Aravis

On recommande pour les marcheurs, les grimpeurs et les rêveurs. Quelques activités a proximité pour les enfants ms de belles randos pour les enfants marcheurs. Le chalet est calme, tres spacieux et confortable et bien equipé. Une ombre toutefois : pas de draps, pas de serviettes.....inclus la plupart du temps ds les prix de location. ..ce qui serait justifier compte tenu du niveau de prix de la location.

4 jours de ski de rando aux Confins

Superbe emplacement et chalet pour un camp de base ski de randonné au coeur des Aravis. Nous sommes restés 4 jours. Le chalet est parfaitement équipé, joliment décoré, , avec une salle d'eau dans chaque chambre. Situé à quelques metres du parking des confins, on chausse les skis au pied du chalet. Très bon accueil de Martine et Jacques

Magnifique séjour en famille. Chalet spacieux, confortable pour une famille nombreuse. Le cadre, au bout de la station au calme. Je recommande si vous recherchez un espace nature et montagne. La station est à 10mn en voiture.
