The house is tastefully and beautifully decorated and was very clean! I wondered how hot the upstairs bedroom would be in 90 degree weather, but they have a smaller space air conditioner and additional fan (which we didn't use), so it was very comfortable. I even had to turn the upstairs a/c thermostat up because it got too cold during the night! The finished basement with additional bathroom was a nice area to be able to spread out. We also enjoyed making a small fire in the fire pit in the backyard so our grandson could make the complimentary s'mores the host provided. That was a fun and nice touch. The main floor wasn't huge, but was a good size for our family of 5. Restaurants, fast food, and the beach are just minutes away. I would definitely give this rental 5 stars and would highly recommend staying here!

We had such a lovely stay! My mom & I were only in town for 2 nights, but this home was perfect for our getaway. The location was fantastic—just a short drive to downtown Michigan City, restaurants & shopping. It was the perfect home base for exploring the area while still feeling tucked away & peaceful.The house is spacious, beautifully decorated, & has such a warm, comfortable feel. The upstairs bedroom was my favorite—it felt like a cozy little hideaway & was perfect for a great night’s sleep. Of the other 2 beds, 1 was incredibly comfortable, while the downstairs mattress near the bathroom was a little too soft for my preference. With 2 very comfortable beds, though, this was a minor issue/didn’t take away from our overall stay.Our hostess was wonderful—prompt, attentive, responsive, & very accommodating whenever I had a question or needed anything. Her communication made everything easy & stress-free, which is always appreciated when traveling.Heads-up if traveling with a pet: there is a very sweet dog next door. The yard is completely fenced, but it’s a chain-link fence, so dogs can get close enough for a nose-to-nose hi. The pup was nice, but worth knowing if your dog isn’t great w/other dogs, just so there are no surprises!Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay! The home was clean, welcoming, comfortable, well-appointed, & conveniently located. Would absolutely stay here again & would happily recommend it to anyone visiting. We only wish we’d had more than 2 nights!

Quick Family Lake Michigan Stay

Property was just right. There was plenty of space, the kitchen had everything we needed, the outdoor seating and fire pit was a nice hang out area, and the location was perfect. There are many restaurants, beaches, and other towns nearby. We had a great stay!

Great Family Vacation

This was a great house for our family. Plenty of space for the kids, and we enjoyed the hot tub. Very good Wi-Fi and nice TV’s. It’s about 7-8 minutes from the beach entrance, which was great to be that close. If we returned to this area, we would stay here again.

The house was very nice. We were a little surprised at the size of the hot tub. It was a little small. We enjoyed a campfire one evening. Overall, it was a very enjoyable weekend. Restaurants and stores close by.

The house comfortably fit 6 six people and was in a convenient location- just a short drive to the lake and restaurants. The host was great: very kind and easy to work with. The only real downside is the house itself is in need of a deep clean as there were cobwebs in the corners, a very slow-draining bath/shower, and small ants in the kitchen.

Good weekend getaway

Close location to everything, clean and comfortable house. We enjoyed the hot tub and quiet neighborhood. ! The upstairs bedroom has a portable air conditioner that was extremely loud, we enjoy white noise while sleeping but no one was able to sleep in that room. House had everything we needed.
