Hitchcock Holiday is a position perfect family beach getaway. Well elevated to catch the afternoon sea breeze, this four bedroom, two living rooms, two bathrooms, house provides the perfect setting for a relaxed holiday. A north facing deck and a few minutes to the Barwon River beach, shops and golf course, a perfect holiday destination.

Easy family living with plenty of accommodation in the heart of beautiful Barwon Heads!

The Space:
There is a King bed in the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Further three bedrooms comprising of Queen bed, double under-bunk with single on top and one king single bed in the fourth bedroom. The family bathroom has a bath, shower and toilet area.

Guest Access:
Entire house available to guests.

The Neighborhood:
Barwon Heads is a delightful coastal village located at the mouth of the Barwon River, 22 kilometres south-east of Geelong, and just across the river from its twin beachside town, Ocean Grove. Both are extremely popular coastal resorts offering beautiful beach holiday rentals, magnificent surf beaches on the doorstep of Bass Strait, safe family-friendly beaches along the river, unlimited sporting choices, and bustling town centres with every shopping and dining option you need.

A short car trip will deliver you to some of Victoria’s finest wineries and craft breweries, outstanding regional restaurants, the urban delights of Geelong, and the popular surfcoast towns of Queenscliff, Point Lonsdale, Torquay, Anglesea and Lorne – and, of course, the iconic Great Ocean Road.

Among the major annual festivals and events in the area are the Victorian Open Golf Championship at 13th Beach, the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race, the Queenscliff Music Festival, Geelong’s Toast To The Coast festival, the Rip To River fun run, and Barwon Heads’ Festival Of The Sea. Great house in fantastic location!

We spent the weekend in Barwon Heads with our (adult) family and this was a great house! Plenty of space for everyone, it was spotlessly clean, and the property managers were super-easy to deal with and responsive. The location is exceptional - 3 mins walk to the main shops/cafes/bars area, IGA just around the corner, and on a dead-end so no through traffic. Highly recommended and we’ll stay here again!

Great beach house in a great location, close to town and river. King bed really comfortable and had a fan for warm nights. Only suggestion would be to have fans in other three bedrooms as it was warm in these rooms. Overall a wonderful stay.

Fantastic house in an unbeatable location

We've stayed in this house a couple of times now because we love it. It's such an authentic coastal town house, but with all the facilities you need and expect to make for a comfortable weekend away with our grown up family.The location is perfect for us. A short walk back up the street to the main shopping and restaurant strip in Barwon Heads, so once the car is parked it stays there for the weekend!Thanks for a great stay.
