Do NOT stay at any location managed by MadeComfy property management company thru VRBO!

We were extremely dissatisfied with the entire experience with this location and specifically the property management company, MadeComfy. Not only did the property company misrepresent the apartment on the VRBO site (i.e. they said they had heat but did not) but they also are not a 24/7 operation which is also what they stated on their profile in VRBO. It was winter when we arrived in Australia and specifically chose this location because it was close to Bondi Beach and had heat. Upon arrival at 3 pm, the temperature in the apartment was 50 degrees and falling. After multiple phone calls to the property management company, we were told that there was a small space heater in the closet which unfortunately was broken and even if it was working, would not have been sufficient to warm the apartment. They stated that they could not deliver any heaters that evening or guarantee when the heaters would be delivered as the property manager needed to approve and he was on vacation. We were forced at that point to make a decision to leave and find another place to stay at the last minute because it was far too cold to stay at the location at 9 pm. We had requested a full refund but that was declined. I would recommend not staying at any location that is managed by MadeComfy. They were difficult to work with, lacked customer service aptitude and experience, they were inflexible and not at all accommodating or solutions oriented. What a nightmare!
