Every detail is here to welcome you. Cook a lazy breakfast in the kitchen, or sink into the comfy queen-size bed after a day of exploring. In the winter, you can curl up on the leather lounge and stay toasty warm by the crackling wood fire with a book, a board game, or a jigsaw puzzle. When the weather warms up, a refreshing easterly breeze sweeps through most afternoons, working with the ceiling fan to keep you perfectly cool.

While you’ll feel a million miles away, charming local culture is just down the road:
• Bungendore & Queanbeyan (20 mins away): Wander through historic streets to discover unique local shops, boutiques, and delicious treats.
• Braidwood: Take a scenic drive a little further to uncover heritage treasures and hidden countryside gems.

Your slower paced days start and end right here. Pack a basket and wander down to the dam for a peaceful afternoon picnic. As the daylight fades, pour a drink and watch the sunset paint the sky from the back verandah.

Once night falls, simply sit back, look up, and watch the countryside sky come alive with a breathtaking canopy of stars.

The cottage is supplied with harvested rain water. It is a food grade tank with a two filter system attached and the filters are replaced regularly. The water is safe for human consumption.

As the cottage is located in a rural setting, periodically micro bats may be active along with other rural and native animals, insects and spiders.

Three external cameras are in place to monitor the exterior of the cabin only. They will not impact on your privacy and any attempt at disabling, redirecting or obscuring the cameras may result in termination of your stay.
