Location ideal for Hobbiton and Sanctuary Mountain. Accomodation itself simple and comfortable, clean, equipped kitchen, spa nice, great communication with host and clear instructions. Overall a great stay for our family of four.
Ideal accommodation between Auckland and Taupo. We would stay again. Perfect for what we required; rural, quiet, clean, modern, private and comfortable.
We had a great stay at this Tiny House. It has everything you need, comfortable and warm, or cool in our case taking advantage of the A/C. The Spa is a great touch and with limited signal, no WIFI or TV you have an opportunity to relax and switch off.
Wonderful place, great location, house was spotless and facilities were awesome. Wish we could of stayed longer. Highly recommened. Thanks Sue for a very relaxing stay.
We loved our stay, it felt like wer were a world away but were just next to where we needed to be.
The place was so nice and warm and had all the comforts of home you need when staying away.
The front deck was drenched in afternoon sun which made it lovely for a sit and unwind after an exciting afternoon of bird watching.
Cosy place that worked well for our group (2 couples). We loved the wide views, lounged on the deck in the sun after our outings, and enjoyed relaxing in the spa under the night sky :) Handy position to Putaruru, Arapuni and Sanctuary Mountain. Much recommended.
What a lovely little tiny house! Such a great place to unplug (no tv or wifi) and enjoy the surroundings. Definitely need a car to get to and to other places.

Thanks for your kind comments - we're very proud of our little place. So central to great attractions, but far enough away to relax! We loved hosting you and hope we see you again one day!
A fantastic stay, we booked for two nights but loved it that much we asked to stay another night, it was almost two! Perfect for a couple of friends, two rooms, comfy beds and plenty of towels. The Spa amazing! There is limited wifi signal an old TV and a selection of DVD's and some games, so not for you if can't unplug. We found it warm, cosy and would highly recommend, plus Sue was great to deal with. A perfect spot.

Hi Ana,
You are the guests that are the "why" we do this!
Thanks for your lovely review and kind words - it's so great to host people who enjoy The Linhay & appreciate the beauty of the experience. We'd love to host you again anytime!
Great communication, easy check in / check out, no surprises. No wifi/tv was not a problem as hottub and lovely deck / grassy area kept everyone entertained. There was minimal cell service for one of us (on spark I think), but Vodafone had no issues. Will stay again if adventuring nearby :)
This was a good place to stay and would like to do it again but it wasn't clear that there wasn't internet. We didn't know until we saw the note. It was fine but I didn't know that. BBQ and the hot tub was a great addition!
While we enjoyed the stay and the property was clean and tidy we did notice that the CD player wasn't working, the outdoor umbrella wouldn't stay up and the double bed in the second room was quite small for two adults to sleep on so not quiet the best nights sleep.

Thank you for pointing out the problem you had with the CD player, as you can imagine it's only repaired when a problem is highlighted. The second bed is as advertised a double bed, and anything larger in this room would mean climbing over each other to get in and out. The umbrella has worked well for our last guests who stayed for a week and used every day. Thanks for the comments.
It was an absolutely perfectly little get away that we used for a honeymoon base, going to rotorua and Tauranga for some activities and having a perfect little spot to have some days of relaxing and time out. We loved having a spa under the stars at the end of a day! Has absolutely everything you need for some time to disconnect and just enjoy some peace and quiet! She was an amazing host who also even left us a little honeymoon surprise which we were very grateful for! Would 100% recommend! Thanks heaps!

Thanks for staying with us & your review. We clearly advertise the Linhay as a break in a beautiful peaceful place, without tv & wifi, with a spa on a beautiful deck overlooking the South Waikato countryside. We're central to so many natural attractions & great as a journey stop-over. I'm sorry you expected other things & were disappointed.
