I rented this unit for around 2 weeks for my son as he was just arriving in AL for work, When he got there, the room was disheveled and uncleaned. So, at midnight, after a long day of travel, he had to go out and find a hotel. This owner/ management company refused to pay for the hotel bill that we incurred due to their error. They lied to me and strung me along for weeks about it and never reimbursed. No honesty, no integrity. BUYER BEWARE! As far as the actual room, my son wrote this: It was effectively horrible: gas line had to be turned off because it would leak into the kitchen, the fridge would leak water and spoil food, the “kitchen” window would not open (sealed shut) so it was nearly impossible to ventilate the unit, the fan would make an awful whirring sound if set too high, there was no table or useable kitchen chairs, there were only about two plates and two bowls, there would sometimes be a mildew smell in the room, and the AC to OUR unit was controlled by the SEPARATE unit next door. So, in order to change the temperature, we had to get a code to next door to adjust it which of course was problematic when other people moved into that adjacent unit.

We’re sorry the room wasn’t ready upon arrival. There was a mix-up with the cleaning crew, and it was cleaned the following morning. The first-night issue was addressed directly with the guest at the time. The additional maintenance concerns described were not reported during the stay, so we did not have an opportunity to address them then. We understand this was a frustrating experience and remain committed to providing guests with a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained stay.

Fun in Birmingham

We had a great stay. Although no A/C, the management provided a box fan and it was fine. Would help to get better ventilation (get the windows to open). Very clean and tidy.

Better than a hotel in Birmingham/Highlands

Great stay in this studio. Exactly as advertised, very clean, decorated, and well maintained. The neighborhood was super interesting and lively, but at the same time quiet, walkable, and felt very safe. Connected to larger unit, as communicated, but still felt private and secure. Super comfortable bedding, clean bathroom, and small kitchenette made for great “home” base. Would recommend, and if you’re looking for something larger, the other part of the house looked great too (will be trying that next chance). Good communication, easy check in/check out.
