This was a great vacation rental house. Plenty of space both inside and out. We chose it for proximity to the safari zoo and were pleased to find a park the kids could play at a short drive away. Very nice neighborhood. Soft sheets, nice beds. No complaints. Thanks for a great stay!

Sept 12-19 Stay

Overall, the house is beautiful! the only thing is the shower in the master's bedroom. It's hard to regulate from hot to medium, the water dripping from the shower head also slows down when adjusting from hot to medium so I can't wash my hair properly. Also, the electric sockets are very loose, it should be replaced. Other than that, it's great!

Rancho Bernardo

Loved this location. It was in a beautiful community about 30 min from downtown San Diego. One mile from walking/hiking/running/biking trails and a huge park. I ran every day and explored all kinds of trails. Had a conference I attended 5 days in down town San Diego at the convention center. Fairly short drive if not going during rush hour. 6 lanes of traffic can be intimidating if you’re not used to it. The house itself is great. Perfect size for 3 adults and 3 kids. Mitch is fully equipped to cook normally which saved us a ton of money. Patio out back we sat at each morning and evening. Highly recommend and will definitely come back.

Excellent suburban location, nice home in nice neighborhood

We enjoyed staying here. The house was clean and spacious. The backyard is a very nice spot to hang out and we enjoyed using the gas fire pit table a couple times. The location is great with lots of food and shopping options nearby, and you have 2 interstate exits within a few minutes, very convenient. Nice neighborhood, no security concerns or anything. The beds were nice and i particularly appreciated the master bed mattress being firm enough but not too firm… not a worn out bed like many of our prior VRBO’s. The house was nicely stocked (better than many rentals) with trash bags and toilet paper, and we left some other things to help keep it stocked. My only suggestion of caution is there is a LOT of art in this house and we have 2 little children (3 & 5) and this caused a lot of extra work, carefully moving art out of the way and keeping them from playing with some of it. Just not very convenient for kids. It is nice though and you can tell the place has an artists touch with eclectic choices for faucets/cabinet handles and things. But everything was functional.
