We celebrated my partner’s birthday with some close friends this past weekend and had such a wonderful time. We were able to barbeque and spend a day of laughs and celebrating. The house had everything we needed and Ignatious was a great, responsive host. I would definitely book again!

The stay was very pleasant. The kitchen was very equipped, the covered BBQ and hot tub was very nice as well. The only thing I'd suggest is to add another shower to the washroom in the basement, as it has only the toilet. The overall experience was great and we'll definitely come back next winter for another skii and snowboarding weekend!

We had an excellent family stay! This cute home is located in the country which we love! It is a central location for gathering family together from Barrie, Orillia, and Midland. There was lots of room indoors and out for our whole family. The two bathrooms made it easily possible for us all to get ready for an early morning event in Orillia. The biggest comfort was that we were able to bring our two dogs. They loved exploring the big property and swimming in the creek. I felt at ease knowing the yard was fully fenced for them. The hot tub was fantastic and a great way to relax and end our day. The kitchen appliances were older, but good enough for our needs of heating and serving food. We made lovely morning coffee in the coffee maker provided. The house was well cleaned and well stocked. The tub needed a rinse out before first use as perhaps a mop bucket had been emptied into there. Otherwise, it was very clean and nicely organized. There is plenty of sleeping space, nice beds, ample bedding, pillows and towels. This was our third stay and we will be back! The host had excellent communication with us. He answered email inquiries very quickly and instructions for check in and check out were easy. Thank you for another great stay at your country cottage retreat!!

Cosy, private, and peaceful getaway.

We enjoyed our weekend stay at this peaceful country home with our extended family consisting of 3 children, 9 adults, and 2 dogs in town for a family reunion nearby. The layout of the place indoors and outdoors worked well for our family visit. The owner is personable and flexible and responds to questions quickly. We would definitely stay here again!

Awesome family retreat

I booked thia place, so I would have room to have all of my family together. I liked that there was skiing close by, which we did do on the one day. The place was comfortable with a lot of room to hang out together and enjoy each other's company. We had a puppy with us; it was really easy to watch him and not a lot for him to get into. I cannot wait to book it again next year!

Quiet winter cottage

I had gone for a winter retreat with the family. We had a pleasant and comfortable stay. The space in reality is better than in the pictures. There was ample bedding and space for sleeping. The kitchen was well equipped.The host was very quick and responsive to any queries or questions
