This was a lovely place to stay at a good price. Their property is great. There is a walking trail on it and chickens and a beautiful birdfeeder. You could watch birds at over coffee. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful with lots of information about what to do in the area. It was a great place to be located and much cheaper than other options in Picton or Wellington while I was there, I visited to provincial parks and went out for a great dinner.

We enjoyed a lovely stay in Wooler. We were looking for rest and relaxation, and that's what we got - it was very peaceful enjoying the grounds, watching the birds, and listening to the chickens doing their thing. Bed was comfortable, and AC very welcome (we stayed during a heat wave).

If I were to imagine an idyllic rural retreat, this would be it! The property is absolutely stunning, the garden is aspirational, and the chickens are a blast to watch. The accommodations are clean, comfortable, and quiet. The weather didn’t allow for a proper exploration of the property, so we missed out on the bees and the wildflowers, but the fresh eggs (in the most beautiful array of colours) and honey made up for it. We will definitely be back, next time spending more time there.

I absolutely loved being on their homestead, I even got to serenade their chickens, but they paid most attention to my whistling! Ì had some medical problems unfortunately, but the owners were incredibly kind and thoughtful. The apartment was very clean, well-conceived and air-conditioned. This VRBO gave me the quiet and restful escape that I was searching for, but there are plenty of things to do in the area.

Great property and location, Laura and family were very helpful and generous with both the stay and providing us anything extra we needed. Very friendly throughout the stay and our daughter loved collecting eggs from their chicken coop and playing with their pets.We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful country stay

We loved staying at this lovely well appointed apartment. The location was perfect to tour around the area to Warkworth, Stirling and Brighton. The trail on the property was nice and we enjoyed watching the chickens and many birds at the feeders. A very relaxing stay!

Great home base for Trenton visit

This unit was perfect for us…peaceful and in the country but close enough to Trenton (by vehicle of course). It is very spacious and clean. We’d definitely stay again.

Not what I was expecting. It is basically a room in someone’s basement. I could hear them walking above me and the water running from the pipes. Although the property was cute, the room was very clean and hearing the rooster in the morning was lovely.
