Delay in the start of our vacation

We had issues that delayed our first day of enjoying our vacation. Many issues were addressed in kind. For example, the smoke detector battery needed to be changed, the sink and water issue, and the dryer not working. These were remedied. Although, we were puzzled that we were told several times that there was no washer or dryer in the unit. I suggest looking deeper into the cleaning practices of your employees or hired service. The uncleanliness of the condo and the items left behind gave us a mental image of the family that had stayed in the unit before us; that should never happen! The cleaning personnel seemed puzzled that I thought the condo needed cleaning. They took the bed linens soiled with feces but did not re-make it. Instead, they handed us a bag of linens to make the bed ourselves. The fact that the bed linens were covered in feces suggested they were never changed. We found other areas of uncleanliness after they left and throughout the week. For example, a small stuffed animal was buried in the ice tray. The cleaning staff should have emptied the ice tray during their initial cleaning. There was an empty candy wrapper in one of the closets and under our bed, a sock covered in dust bunnies and hair under the desk appeared, a very large bar of used soap in the master shower, make-up-soiled towels in the master bathroom, an empty Pringles cup in the dresser drawer, dust was everywhere throughout all of the dresser drawers, a lighter in the bathroom by the sink ca
