This was a great place for a mini family reunion. Plenty of space for eating and playing board games, enough bedrooms and bathrooms that each family unit had privacy, and wonderful shared spaces inside and outside for lounging and taking in the views. Very quiet and good for wildlife and star viewing but also close enough to town that it’s not a big deal if you need to pick up something from the store. We’ll be back!

Perfect rural getaway for extended family

This property was lovely in every respect—its site on Holdens Creek, its living and sleeping spaces, and its proximity to Assateague where we went for a day. We highly recommend it for a family group.

Comfortable secluded country home

The home is beautiful, spacious and very clean with everything you could ask for. Very comfortable beds with plenty of linens and towels. It is more country than beachy and a bit of a drive to get anywhere. There was an issue with the downstairs washer and toilet at the end of our stay, backing up and filling with dark water but everything else was perfect.

Fabulous

We stayed the week after Xmas. The home was beautiful. Wonderful large kitchen and family room that we all could gather in. Beautiful view, access to the water, fire pit. Such a wonderful relaxing time. Will definitely go back. Met the owner. She was very welcoming and accommodating. Thank you Jenny!

Property Beautiful, but

Lovely visit spoiled only by shortfall of supplies of basic necessities (toilet paper(!); garbage bags, dish soap, etc. Also didn't realize we had to make our beds which was inconvenient considering our evening arrival with younger kids.

Our family had an amazing stay. The location was wonderful, and both the neighbors and fellow travelers nearby were very friendly. There are two additional houses behind the main entrance, which is helpful to know when arriving.We were in contact with both the owner and the property management company, Coastal Shore Vacations. Both were excellent, very responsive, and easy to work with.A few helpful notes for future guests. Not all windows have curtains or shades. This was not an issue for us, but it may be worth noting, especially in the upstairs master bathroom if you prefer more privacy. The upstairs blue couch was a bit uncomfortable since you could feel the springs, but we worked around it.The power went out briefly one morning, and since the house uses an electric pump, the water was also out during that time.We loved kayaking and canoeing and even caught a catfish off the dock. The stars were beautiful, and we were lucky enough to see a NASA rocket launch from the back deck, which was incredible.The kids loved the ping pong table and exploring outside. We would definitely consider coming back and highly recommend this property for a relaxing getaway.

Lovely family weekend

We had a fantastic family get together at Creek House. The views from this property are absolutely stunning, the kayaks and paddleboard provided hours of entertainment, and the spaces in the house were perfect for large groups to spread out or to gather, depending on what people wanted to do. The kitchen is well stocked with tools for cooking, and the indoor ping pong in the garage was fun for family ping pong! We did use the resort access one time, but were really having so much fun on the property that we didn’t need it. The house and the property are a resort in their own right! We were happy to meet the owner, Jenny, and some of her family. She was lovely and shared the story of the house and a bit of its history. We drove to the beach at Chincoteague (about 30 mins.) for three great beach days and some “town time,” but were happy to come back to the serenity of Creek House. The youngest with us, almost 10 years old, said it best: “I’m sad to leave because this was one of the best times of my life.” We all feel the same and hope we’ll be back!
