About this property
Unique Townhome on Tucson's Scenic NE side located near work & fun places.
1265 sq. ft. Townhome in older, solidly built small complex near the crossroads of Harrison, Old Spanish Trail, and 22nd St.;
Recently remodeled with an 'open floorplan'; Very comfortable and nicely furnished including internet and Roku TV; Master BR has walk in shower, House bath a bathtub with hand held shower head; Both MB and LR open onto a covered patio with immediate access to the swimming pool and great views; 2 space covered carport; TH attached to one other TH, and faces 2 THs directly across the drive. (This is important because-you do have neighbors immediately next door, and two TH across from you, just enough to help watch who is around, thus a good safety factor); within walking distance of all the eateries (including ice creamery), banks, grocery stores; Target, BB&Beyond, Ace, Office Max and other major businesses to be found nearby. It is 10 mi. to the intersection of Houghton Rd. and I 10 which is about 40mi to Ft Huachua, Sierra Vista and Tombstone; 30mi. to Karchner Caverns, The Amerind Museum and Cochise's Stronghold; 15mi to Tucson International Airport, Raytheon & Other Lg Corporations; Hospitals and clinics are w/I 30 minutes. Nice walking & bicycle path about 300 yards away that runs for 100+ miles. Remember, Tucson is known for it's great bicycling endeavors.
Other major tourist destinations with easy access from this location are Sabino Canyon; Mt Lemon (where Tucson even gets a dab of snow) ; The Desert Museum (worldclass), and Saguaro East museum. Of course the other areas of town can say the same things, in reverse. Access is good due to the I 10 swing around the city. To continue, there are 3 Indian Casinos, The Pima Air Museum (one of Tucson's most visited attractions); Old Tucson movie set; Kit Peak with its Observatories; the Green Valley areas such as Tubac, wine tours, and Nogales, Mexico! Dare I say, Tucson is a great place to work, but a FABULOUS place for sight seeing, exercising, and playing. Oh my, I almost forgot the most important part---Golf, Golf, Golf! So again, this is a great property for all the above. I think I mentioned we are pet friendly! Hope to be able to greet you when you arrive!

About the host
Hosted by Charlotte O'Bannon
I grew up in NM with a agriculture & dude ranch background, began college at NMSU, moved with parents to Colorado and went to Adams State College. Married, 3 children, had farm/ranch business, divorced and back to school to finish education. I got 2 MA degrees and currently a nearly retired professional. Have done lots of traveling around the world, moved back to NM for a job, then opportunity pulled us to Arizona, a wonderful part of the S Western States, and here we will retire!
Why they chose this property
When we first moved to Tucson in 1997 from NM, we bought and remodeled the unit attached to this one. Good friends lived there and our (to become) realtor. We bought another unit across the pool & remodeled it. After a short time I wanted more elbow room than a TH offered, so we sold both and bought a "gem" about 5 mi N. But, alas, it is time to plan for downsizing, the 793 unit became available, so we jumped on it! So vacation rental by owner is the perfect answer until we move back ourselves!
What makes this property unique
Location. It is off the beaten track enough to make one think you almost live rural! The complex is small. And it also has its views. Good access to walking/biking trails and all kinds of shopping. I don't mean to imply it is out in the country. But the E side is not as busy as other parts of town, so you can be 'in the countryside in a few minutes!
