It was great. The only thing that bothered me was that there were no batteries in the remotes for the bedroom tv's.

Great cabin.. great location

Very nice cabin, with lots of space indoors and out! We really enjoyed the pool table/arcade loft area. Great surprise seeing a mama bear and cubs right outside. Would stay again!

Perfect place

We had 3 couples and two kids (ages 9 & 11).. The place was the perfect size for all of us. The kids enjoyed the pool table and the arcade, while the adults loved the hot tub and the gazebo/front porch area.

Nice view!

Loved the view, the cabin was nice....not as large as we’d hoped (pictures a bit deceiving). Location to town was great! Neighbors a bit too close for our comfort.

Spectacular view

This was close enough to town that it was convenient to go in several times a day. Very comfortable and with a spectacular view. The only complaint we had was that the pool was too cold to use. If we come back again, I would love to stay here.

Our only complaint is the king size beds weren’t very comfortable. Very large dips in both of them. Other then this is was great!

Serenity Peak Cabin

Really enjoyed our two night stay at serenity Peak cabin. Plenty of space and clean property located in a community in Weirs Valley. Easy process to rent and check in and check out. Rental included limited supply of paper products and soap but we had to make a special run to the store just for coffee filters. Location allowed use of the back entrance into Cades Cove so we could avoid the Gatlinburg traffic. Would stay there again.

Not clean

There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and roaches in the kitchen. I would not recommend this cabin. Check-in wasn’t until 4pm, so they have time to clean. But this place was not clean. Bathroom tiles on main floor had black spots, broken tile in the kitchen and the dryer was falling apart.

Don't go in winter or stay more than 3 days or so.

We stayed more than a week and the supplies given we're not adequate for more than 3 days. There was not enough dishwasher tabs or garbage bags. The dishwasher was broke, useable but broke. The hot tub was cold when we got there. The cabin was at 56 degrees when we woke up. We were told "it's cold" and given a space heater that got the cabin up to about 60 degrees after 5 or 6 hours. We spent two days in the cabin freezing with blankets and extra clothes on. We were never offered any solution except it's cold!

Jackson Mountain Homes Serenity Peak

The cabin was clean and beautiful and just as described. However our arrival was a complete nightmare. We were given wrong directions and ended up stranded on the side of a mountain in a snow storm. Had to be rescued by emergency services and had to leave my vehicle on the side of the road. Called and left 4 different messages with only number given on the reservation. No one ever returned my call. Finally called the sales office and got to a person but they basically told me there was nothing they could do. We do a Tennessee trip every year and while we loved the cabin we will never use this company again. Horrible customer service.

VTrips and Jackson Mountain Homes are terrible

I have never had a worse experience renting a cabin in my life. To start, Jackson Mountain Homes does not even answer their office phone in Pigeon Forge. It goes straight to an answering service for VTrips in Florida. When you get the answering service in Florida you have to press 2 if you already have a reservation and need assistance. If you get anyone it will be at least a 30 minute hold time. However if you are making a reservation and press 1 they have someone immediately available. I had to beg someone from that option to help me. All I was trying to get was some information on how to get in the cabin. With other rental companies in the past I received constant communication on check in proceedures. The day of checking in I still hadn't received any information. I begged someone from option 1 in Florida not to transfer me because I was at the cabin and needed to know how to get in. The person reluctantly sent me an email with an App that had the information I needed. He apologized and said I should have already received that email......you think!!! I have screen shots where I messaged Jackson Mountain Homes through VRBO and to this day they never answered any of them. VRBO is great!!! However if you see a cabin by Jackson Mountain Homes or VTrips......stay FAR FAR AWAY.

Beautiful home and area

Our stay at this house was great. The view of the mountains and sunsets were amazing. Everything in the house was great except the floors were filthy and the back door to the deck kept sticking really bad to the point where we could rarely use it. Other than that, we had everything we needed, and would recommend staying here as long as they do a bit of a better cleaning job! Our feet were black after only about 15 minutes of being there 😬.

Great cabin!

Our family of five enjoyed this cabin and created beautiful memories as a family, everything you need to cook etc is there, the pool was awesome too. Perfect location if you are looking to enjoy Pigeon Forge ( 5 mints ) or Gatlinburg ( 20 minutes ) . We felt like home in this cabin, and we look forward staying here again.

Million dollar view

This cabin sits on the foothills of the smokies. Getting to wake up and see the sun rise over them was very peaceful. The cabin was only a short drive from the main strip in pigeon forge and about a 30 minute drive to Gatlinburg. Kids really enjoyed running around on the wrap around deck and relaxing in the hot tub. Worth the trip for sure and thank you for sharing it with our family.
