We love this building and try to stay every year. This particular unit was perfect for me and my husband. The unit was very clean and right above the patio. The tiki bar is perfect for us and the patio was a lot of fun, especially with the bar manager! Had a great time.

Condo is very nice and clean. Master BR king bed, and sofa has a sleeper. Beautiful view from 2nd floor balcony of the ocean. Complex has a nice outdoor pool and indoor pool on 22nd floor. Tiki bar and grill on property but it is a little pricey. Parking for this unit is in the parking garage for the building and can be difficult to find when you first arrive. Overall it was a great stay!

We loved the view from the second floor balcony. It provided great opportunity for people watching on the huge carpeted patio below, and the view of the beach & ocean was wonderful & relaxing. We were surprised about the great water pressure in this unit, of all things, and the hot & cold water was reliable a all times. We were a little confused about where to deposit our trash upon exiting but that got worked out easily. Overall we have a wonderful stay, and would definitely consider returning here in the future!

Well, I have stayed at this property since my daughter is 4, and she is now turning 30. About 5 years ago Vacasa started taking over renting, the fees went through the roof, and problems were difficult to get addressed. We found another condo we love through century 21 and we've been going there ever since. This time I wanted the pool, and I wanted the tiki bar. I can't say enough good things about the staff at the tiki bar and grill and the cleanliness of the deck and pool. That being said, this building is in disrepair. I picked a better condo, but there were bare spots in the kitchen island paint, there was a drywall patch that was not completed, the items in the kitchen for use were ok, but basically odds and ends. Did we have a good time? Yes. Will I be back to the Golden Sands? No. They should tell the staff in the morning when they're prepping the deck to not talk so loudly about they're happy the tourists are leaving, and their jobs will be easier.

Appliances

The condo was decent, however the digital numbers on the oven do not show properly so I wasn't able to cook & we had to spend more money eating out. Also the washer had a musty smell. Finally the management company never bothered to contact us regarding all the police & fire dept activty. We were told by other guests there was a suicide from the 22nd floor. I feel the mgmt co should have reached out to us for reassurance as opposed to no reaction as if nothing happened. This was an incredibly disturbing event. Very disappointing.

Rachel, thank you very much for your feedback, I am sorry to hear you experienced any issues with the oven and the washer. We were not made aware of any issues at all. If you had made us aware, we absolutely would have had them addressed for you immediately. As for the event that took place during your stay, it was absolutely tragic, and we were not aware until the next morning. We did not make it a point to contact our guests due to the situation happening the night prior and already being handled by the police and the building management. Some families were not aware of the events, and we did not feel it was our place to announce the tragedy as details were still unfolding. I sincerely apologize for the disturbance to you and your family, and I hope you all were able to continue to enjoy the remainder of your vacation together.
