About this property

Perfect location for Storyland, ski slopes, hiking and North Conway

Our vacation home is located in the Mount Washington area of New Hampshire, US. The condo has approximately 1,700 sq ft. (~ 165 sq meters) and has direct views of Mount Washington and the ravines. Master bedroom with queen bed and private bath, a second bedroom with two twin beds and a large loft with two more twin beds. The master and second bedrooms have brand new mattresses as of Jan '22. The first floor has a second full bathroom, kitchen, foyer and a large living room with high ceilings (~16 feet). Dining table (sits 6) and breakfast nook with smaller table (sits 4). From the living room you can step out on the deck with views of the mountains. Other amenities include A/C, gas fireplace , TV, radio, CD and DVD player, electronic piano/keyboard, wireless, high-speed Internet access, washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, outdoor furniture, grill, etc.

The fine print: no smoking, no pets, maximum occupancy at all times 6 people, there is a flight of stairs to reach the main entrance.

There is plenty to do all year round. Winter ski, with at least four large ski areas within 10 minutes drive. Attitash, Cranmore Mt., Black Mt., Wildcat are just a few examples. 30 min away you have access to Bretton Woods, Canon Mt., Loon Mt. and more. Summer is best for hiking or golf. In our house you'll find a mountain guide, trail maps and a backpack. Children 12 and younger (as well as adults) can enjoy Story Land in walking distance. Three or more golf courses are nearby in Jackson, Eagle House and Mount Washington hotel. Mount Washington has different access ways. You can drive up Mt Washington on a scenic road or hop on a van. The cog rail with authentic mid 1800 engine and cars is the most fun (besides hiking) to go up the mountain (on 45deg slope). Fall is full of color, New England is a travel destination for beautiful foliage. Other attractions, winter Austrian sleigh rides in nearby Jackson village, shopping and outlets in North Conway, 10 min away, and numerous restaurants and coffee shops.

Wonderful, easy, comfortable stay!

This was not our first stay in this condo and we would definitely stay again! We love this location. The condo is clean, comfortable and has space for everyone. Be aware that the mini split doesn’t cool the downstairs bedrooms but that would only be a problem on a rare hot night. I only mention it because AC is important to my group on the occasion it is needed to sleep.

Came up for hiking and fall colors. Great location for hiking trails Beautiful views from apartment but brought chairs to sit out on lawn with even better views. Very well stocked for cooking and dining. Probably the cleanest rental I’ve been in. We’d definitely go back.

Amazing Quiet Getaway

My family and I loved every bit of our winter getaway here! The place was clean, heat worked great, all instructions/communication with the owner were very clear and the views from the location were absolutely breath taking. We didn't want to leave! The place was quiet, cute, cozy and comfy. There was also a washer/ dryer available which was such a convenience. Definitely will be back! 10/10

Amazing views!

Me and my family booked a last minute trip to NH and stayed here. The property was in a great location, central to all we had planned to do. The property was spacious and well equipped. The owners were great with communication, answering all of my questions in a timely manner. My favorite part of our stay was the amazing views from the living room and deck.

Comfortable Stay and Great Location

The condominium was clean and comfortable and in a great location. The view of the mountains - especially Mt. Washington - from the breakfast nook and deck was spectacular! Fred was very responsive and check in/check out was easy. The only minor issue we had was with the internet speed being very slow - a challenge for a family of four with two teenagers. We will definitely return for another family vacation!

Wonderful stay in the mountains

Beautiful views and plenty of space! Great location for skiing and hiking. We went to Attitash and Jackson XC skiing; both of which were a short drive away. The gas fireplace was very nice- warmed us up after a day skiing and creates a lovely environment. There is plenty of common space and seating. The check-in list was a little intimidating, but it went smoothly and didn't take long at all. Overall, we had a great stay!

Great location for enjoying the mountains of New Hampshire, whether from the deck with a cup of coffee or on foot on a hiking trail. A short drive to Vintage Bakery, North Conway, Jackson, Crawford Notch, and Pinkham Notch. The condo itself is comfortable and well equipped for self-catering, and communication with the owner was friendly, prompt, and accurate. Did I mention dark skies for stargazing? Would love to go back!

Visit to the White Mountains

The condo was clean - though dated. The beds were horrid - very uncomfortable! Disappointed the gas stove/fireplace was not in working order. The White Mountain area is absolutely amazing - the colors were outstanding even in the rain and fog!!

Christmas Mountain Chalet

My family and I were extremely happy with our 10 night stay at Christmas Mountain.The property was immaculate and very comfortably furnished. All of our needs were met and surpassed. Fresh bedding, thick fluffy towels, a fully applianced kitchen, even games and books to enjoy. The chalet was spacious with a spectacular mountain view. Our hosts couldn't have been any nicer. They quickly responded to any of our questions, and offered great suggestions for local eateries and things to do. We give them the highest recommendation, definitely super hosts.

Great view!

We (5 adults) spent a long weekend here during the peak leaf change. I can’t imagine a better view from any other condo in the White Mountains! Absolutely gorgeous! The condo was at the back of a quiet neighborhood and centrally located to all the hiking and activities we had planned. The inside was a bit dated but that wasn’t the reason for the trip so it didn’t really bother us. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. The condo was roomy for the five of us. There were plenty of bath and hand towels but only two wash cloths. The checkout process was a bit tedious but it definitely would not stop us from staying here again!

Nice Weekend in Mountains

Property was nice, however, we were surprised that we needed to make our own beds upon arrival, strip the beds upon departure. Empty the dish washer before leaving, which delays departure and follow a series of shut down procedures which normally are handled by a cleaning staff. There was a complicated heating system to warm the living area. Finally figured it out on last day. Just want others to be prepared and not expect walk-in-ready conditions. Nice Location.

Weekend Getaway

Overall, Fred's condo was perfect for our weekend getaway. My wife and I, along with our daughter and her family were looking for a condo convenient to Story Land and North Conway but at the same time away from the busy downtown area. This condo checked all the boxes and then some. It was clean, well stocked with everything we needed and was extremely comfortable. Fred was an excellent host as well. We didn't have any issues, but when I did need to reach out to him he responded promptly and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend Fred as an owner and his condo as a property and would visit it again the next time I vacation/getaway in the North Conway area.
