My wife, Jen, and I live in Reading, MA with our two sons Finn and Conor. We fell in love with the North Conway area after taking many trips there over the years. We love to ski, hike, swim and take our kids to Storyland and Santas Village. In 2025 we purchased Bluebird Chalet and we love to come up every chance we get. And look forward to sharing it with our many guests.
Why they chose this property
The Lindehof neighborhood is carved through the woods up Thorn Hill. It is full of cool Swiss Style chalets that always caught our attention. It was a dream of ours to own a house in this neighborhood. Our kids are young and love Storyland which is right at the bottom of Thorn Hill. We love to ski and are getting our kids started with skiing as well. The Summer is the best time of year to be up there with all the hiking and swimming holes close by. And in the Fall you can't beat the amazing foliage in this area. The house is wedged right between the town of North Conway to the South and Jackson to the North. There is so much to do in both of those towns, but we are nestled right in the quiet middle of both. So there's the peacefulness of being out of the wilderness, but all the modern amenities of vibrant towns just minutes down the road.
What makes this property unique
It is a very cool Swiss Style chalet that points right at Attitash Mountain. It faces Southwest so you get great light coming in through the large windows all day long. And on a clear night, you can lie on the couch and look up at the stars through the windows. It is a great house for families. Its super spacious for an average size family and can easily accommodate 2 families or more. Kids love the bunkbeds and the loft space. Our kids love it and don't want to leave.
