Welcome to 1604, Our Little Piece of Paradise!

Welcome to Unit 1604 at the Fairways at Mauna Lani! This is the largest 1646 SF 2 bedroom floor plan where both bedrooms are located upstairs providing a peaceful sleeping area separate from the living area downstairs. They each have their own full en suite bathrooms so it is perfect for two couples! There is also a powder room downstairs. This luxurious gated community is located between the Fairmont Orchid and Mauna Lani Bay Hotel. It is a short walk to The Shops at Mauna Lani where there are many restaurant including Tommy Bahama and the gourmet market, Foodland Farms.

As a guest, you will have access to the exclusive Mauna Lani Beach Club. Within the resort, there are also two 18 hole championship golf courses and the Mauna Lani Sports and Fitness Club which boasts 6 tennis courts. The private beach club is beautiful and extremely convenient. Simply grab a towel and go! There are chaise lounges and cabanas there for your use as well as the incredible restaurant, Napua. The beautiful white sand beach offers world class snorkeling where the fish feed and the turtles come to play. During the season, you can spot whales frolicking just off the beach. The Fairways also has its own fitness room, expansive pool area and hot tub with a waterfall. Beach towels, snorkel gear, and beach chairs are provided for your use.

We recently fulfilled our dream of being an island property owner. We hope to live here in the future so we furnished and decorated it as our personal residence. Until we can make the transition, we invite you to share our home while on your vacation.

We’re a family of five, and this is our third stay at Mauna Lani. The townhome is spacious, spotless, and well-stocked, with a lovely lanai and just steps from the pool. The location is excellent—close to stunning beaches like Hāpuna, Manini’owali, and Mauna Kea. The Mauna Lani Beach Club features a fantastic restaurant with breathtaking views and is perfect for snorkeling.

Perfect Location & Nice Home

The host provides incredible support and this home is extremely comfortable. Manua Lani is an amazing community and the beach is perfect. We stayed at the other home owned by our host last year. Thank you for another wonderful vacation location!

This condo is so very comfortable. Everything you need to prepare meals or go on a beach adventure is provided. This is our third visit to the “ Big Island” and this condo has been our best so far. The pool is big with plenty of lounging chairs. There are so many beaches within minutes of the complex. Looking forward to our next visit.

This is a great property. Well maintained within a wonderful resort community. Great kitchen.

We loved staying here. Great access to beach and pool. Access to all the dining at the Fairmont Ochard. Well equiped kitchen. Liked having the two bedrooms on the second floor. Very spacious living area. Ron was very accommondating.

Paradise Indeed!!

We have stayed in Mauna Lani many times now-it is our favorite area of the Island to get some rest and relaxation. This rental was just as described. Really perfect! Ron was very timely in our communications. He made us feel very welcomed.

Mani Lani lovely

This 2 story condo in the Mani Lani Fairways is extremely well appointed and had the best supply of kitchen staples of any place. Having a grill on the lanai is very handy.The only downside was the lighting. The only place with adequate light for reading was in the kitchen – not the spot to curl up with a book.

Overall this was a great stay. The location is great and has good access to nice beaches. It's also close to a Petroglyph trail. Saw goats, mongoose, chickens! The house had plenty of space, was well stocked, the TV worked well, and internet was fine. It was close to the entrance and pool. Things to note: you have to park in spaces down the street and there are not sidewalks. The rooms have privacy curtains, but the one by the upstairs balcony is not. It looks into the bathroom that has no doors. So, getting in and out of the shower and tub leaves you exposed. There's a switch for the jetted tub that is not mentioned anywhere or labelled. If these things don't bother you, this is a great place to stay! I especially liked the area!

Mauna Lani Fairways 1604

VRBO: Maybe you could explain what does not confirm. Thank You! The condo was exactly as advertised. We were impressed with the cleanliness as well as how well stocked the unit was. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need if you do a lot of cooking. The unit's location is very quiet and secluded yet very near to the community pool. Ron, our host, was easily accessible and very accommodating.

Paradise

This was our 4th time staying in this community and we absolutely love it. The condo was perfect! It's the larger 2-bedroom so you never feel crowded, and there's plenty of storage to hide your suitcases, etc. Everything was very clean. The kitchen was well-stocked. The best part was the beach toys are well-stocked too! We were able to use the snorkel equipment at the local beach and had amazing views of the sea life without driving far or taking a group tour. The boogie boards were handy for Hapuna beach just a few miles north. The pool and hot tub are awesome when you don't feel like getting sandy, and the pool is a great size. Everything in the area is well-maintained. Can't wait to return!!

Great condo in a great location!

We rented two condo units for a family reunion on the Kohala Coast and the units were both fabulous! They are spacious, modern and well appointed, and the owner had them stocked with everything we could possibly need, even including snorkeling gear and beach toys for the kids. The units are located close to the large swimming pool and within walking distance of the Mauna Lani Beach and Beach Club to which we had full access. Our family of ten (6 adults and 4 children) had a fantastic time on the Big Island and these wonderful condos made it all that more pleasant. We can’t wait to return!

Very nice property!

Everything was in order and ready for us as soon as we arrived. The property is well maintained, kitchen is very well stocked and with quality items from cookware to dishes/glassware and flatware. Very comfortable sleeping, ample towels both bath and beach towels, shampoo, etc. Overall very nice and comfortable stay.

Wonderful Location

Thank you so much for opening you doors and allowing to stay at your vacation rental! Honestly the unit is even more beautiful in person! We all commented that we would all return back next time we visit the big island! The unit was very clean and had everything we needed from all kitchen utensils (in great condition) to beach chairs, snorkel gear, sun umbrellas and beach towels… we were able to use the BBQ grill (3x) to cook dinner. The beach club was perfect as well, beautiful private beach, in which beach chairs are provide and great restaurant to eat during lunch. In the evenings, we enjoyed returning back to our unit and hanging out in the complex’s swimming pool and hot tub. Thank you and look forward to returning in our next visit!

Fabulous Stay at Puako

This is a wonderful condo within the Mauna Lani resort. The condo itself was great, clean, and very spacious. We loved having the beach chairs and snorkel equipment in the garage for us. The resort is great with at least four different beaches to swim off of. The Mauna Lani Beach Club, which this property had guest access to, was the best of the bunch for us. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Beautiful place, quiet community

Wonderful experience. Unit was super clean and well maintained and stocked with everything needed. Check-in was seemless. Great pool that we had practically to ourselves. Hit the private beach a few times. Little bit of a drive to get back into Kona, but not too bad. Would come here again for sure.

It Is A Little Piece of Paradise!

The condos in the Mauna Lani complex are wonderful. We have stayed in every complex over the years, and the Fairways is great. The best part is the "private" beach which can be used by any of the Mauna Lani condos. It really feels like your own space and is an awesome snorkel spot. The condo was just as depicted in the photos: roomy, clean, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, very short walk to the beautiful pool, use of many beach toys and chairs, and walking distance to the Shops at the Mauna Lani. We would definitely stay in 1604 Fairways again!

Nice house. Convenient location

The house is exactly as described. Many items are available, such as salt, olive oil, shampoo etc. Location is very convenient as it close to most of the resorts/golf courses in the Kona side. If I have to find anything negative, I would suggest to have a couple more bath towels so we don’t have to wash them almost every day.

Great Place

We stayed here during the Covid 19 stay in place order. It was wonderful relaxing space. The condo backs up to the garden green space and path to the pool (which was closed but looked wonderful). We had 2 kids under 6 with us and the got to run outside without worry of running into cars. The Condo was spacious and well supplied. It was a pleasant way to pass some of our shelter in place time.
