Overall we had a great time and the property was beautiful. Only real critique is the pictures make it look much larger than it was but it was still very accommodating. The issues we did have come up, we were able to get in touch with someone quickly. Newman group communicated very well throughout our stay except for when someone was coming to clean the pool. Gave us a scare but immediately apologized. The walk to the beach is a literal 2 minute walk and the home is on a dead end street. We had 5 adults and would stay again.
The pool and deck were amazing and perfect for a relaxing day in the sun. The inside had plenty of room to chill and relax and a nice big kitchen table to get everyone in on some card games. The garage filled with the pool table and pool floaties/beach gear was also a nice convenience.
We really enjoyed it. It was beautiful nice clean big pool.

Location, Location, Location
This is the second year we've stayed in the Oceana property on Center Avenue. The location is fantastic. The house is well-equipped, and when you need something the management company is usually quick to respond. I would not hesitate to stay in this property again.
Our stay at Oceana was great! The house was very clean upon check-in. Kitchen has all of the dishes/utensils needed for cooking, etc. It is easily walkable to a grocery store (Publix, 3 min walk); Walgreen's (4-5 min walk); good coffee shop (Caf&, 5 min walk); popular restaurant (Shooters, 7 min walk); beach (3 min walk). We used the pool everyday and there are several floaties/pool noodles available. The house is stocked with all of the beach essentials: wagon, cooler, umbrella, towels, sand toys, boogie boards, etc. We did drive to the beach several times, just to be closer to other activities/marina/restaurants, but it is definitely walkable and in a quieter area. This is a great place to stay and would recommend it to others!

Good
Property was very nice. Seperate baths is each bedroom Suite was nice. Very open floor plan for sitting around with the group. We had one small minor issue (nothing major) at arrival and it was resolved very quickly by the Newman staff which was great
over all experience was good but the place did have an issue with the sink and the garbage disposal not working. we had to call the owner and management company twice to come out

Thank you for the feedback. I’m sorry the sink and garbage disposal caused inconvenience and that it took multiple calls to resolve.
Our maintenance team repaired the disposal, cleared and checked the sink plumbing, and confirmed everything was working. The second call was due to improper use of the garbage disposal and getting out items that were not meant to be thrown away in there. Luckily, all is resolved now!
We appreciate you letting us know and apologize again for the disruption during your stay.

Fantastic Location
The house is newly-remodeled and in a prime Fort Lauderdale location. The beach is a 4 minute walk, and there are abundant shopping and dining/drinking spots within walking distance, which is key in Fort Lauderdale!
The bedrooms are equal in size, the house is full of all necessary amenities and the pool is fantastic! The bonus rec room/garage is a great place to hang out on a rainy day and watch TV or play games.
The few issues we encountered during our stay were addressed immediately, and we would certainly rent through Newman again!
Good size and clean. However AC was not working when we arrived at 5pm. Maintenance showed up at 8:30pm with the house at 84 degrees with strong POT smell all over the inside property. Smell was in for minimum of 2 days. Other than that everything else was fine.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this Fort Lauderdale home. It was a very nice neighborhood, very close to the beach access and A1A. The neighorhood was great for walking and many people are out daily walking, many with their pets - which worked well for us as we try to walk daily and we bring our little dog on vacation. The house was spacious with essentially 3 primary bedrooms, a large living space with attached dining area and sunroom along with a well-equipped kitchen. There is a detached space with hang out space and ping pong. We spent a lot of time outside by the pool too. This was a fabulous property! There are also restaurants within walking distance. The host was also very responsive when we had questions. We will be back to this or another property of this host!
This is an excellent property that is well maintained and everything works. It is 5 rows from the ocean. The portico was a big attraction for me so I did not have to get in and out of my car in the rain. Newman Hospitality was bad in the past but they were the best this year. Do bring your own sheets and towels. There is a laundromat a mile north in LBTS that is great and you might get one of the women to do cleaning. I stayed in the house for the entire month of November so the laundry and cleaning made the stay pleasantly comfortable.
The electronic key to the front door only works about 50% of the time. I strongly recommend that you get a regular key from the lockbox on the front doorknob.
