Bikes are available for rent on the island and many restaurants and attractions are a bike ride or short walk away. I live in Houston, TX and have been a flight attendant for 32 years. I inherited an interest in real estate from my father and after talking over his business I've been able to expand into Galveston. Since I would like to eventually live in Galveston full time, I enjoy spending my spare time on the island. Waking up to the sounds and smells of the Gulf of Mexico is not a bad place to be!
Why they chose this property
Since childhood I have had an interest in old houses. I have been known to peer through a crack in a boarded up window a time or two! Bringing an old, tattered house back to life is fun for me and I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty in the process. In Galveston, these homes are the history of the island and it gives me great pleasure to see them come alive again. There are great stories from the past in these beautiful houses; and great stories in the future as well.
