Our cabin is maintained under a strict monthly contract with a licensed professional pest control service and has no history of pest issues. Following this report, a professional pest control conducted a thorough inspection of both the interior and exterior—including inspecting luggage at the guest’s request—and officially certified that there was no evidence of an infestation. We remain committed to maintaining a clean, comfortable, and well-cared-for home for all of our guests.

Fantastic place to stay!

Everything was great. The location was fabulous and the house came with just about everything you need for a stay away from home. I hope to get to enjoy another stay there!

July Family Vacation

The house & location were perfect for our vacation! We enjoyed sitting outside visiting & listening to the waves & enjoying the beautiful view! Being minutes away from Dauphin Island we were able to enjoy time there also!

We really enjoyed our stay here. My husband was able to fish, the kids rode the paddle boats and kayaks. The only negatives were the boards washing up and scraping my daughter’s leg up and the lawn wasn’t mowed, but we really enjoyed the privacy and being so close to the island and dollar general. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice and Quite

Only thing that was a little disappointing was it showed in the pictures it had tv and radio system below the house and none of it worked. And the beach area had lots of debris on the beach area and water . But was a very nice and comfortable stay.

Fantastic Stay!

Nice private beach. You get beach vibes without being surrounded by a lot of people. There was glass that washed up on the shore each day, so we picked up as much as we could. Great for fishing. There is a bait store just down the road before the island. Dollar General and a convenience store are not far from it. Beds were comfortable. Definitely a lot of pillows! We could not get the remote to the tvs figured out but the remote for the living room works for all of them or you can download the remote on your phone and that worked as well. We tried the Catalina Restaurant in Bayou la Batre and it was fantastic. There is grill that is not pictured but we didn’t use it. We did take the kayaks out one day. The water is not deep at all. We wish the hot water was just a little hotter than what it was. Thank you for having this place available, it was a nice home away from home. Our kids enjoyed it!

Wonderful place!

My husband and I stayed at Bay Vista for 3 nights, 9/30-10/3. It is a very nice home with its own private beach which was a total delight the entire time we were there. The views were absolutely amazing, and we watched the sunrise every morning. We arrived the day after the full moon, but it also rose right above the water, and it was stunning. The sound of the waves both day and night were soothing and relaxing. My son lives just up the road in Theodore, and he brought his children over for a while two different times. The kids just 2 and almost 4 enjoyed the snacks that were provided and the fruit also. It was very well stocked. They spent time at the beach and my son used a lifejacket for my grandson, amazing there was one that fit a 2-year-old, and he took him out on one of the kayaks. My son also fished right off the beach and caught a small catfish. We spent time under the deck also and enjoyed the hammocks. The stairs that lead to the beach are very nice, I didn't remember seeing those in the pictures, but it was a great addition. We also took the 15–20-minute drive to Dauphin Island and rode the ferry to Gulf Shores and went to Fort Morgan. I would definitely stay at Bay Vista again, hopefully next time it will be more than just 3 nights. We had a wonderful time.

Relaxing stay

My husband and I stayed at the Bay Vista for a week. The house is very nice. Excellent location. Very close to Dauphin Island. Excellent restaurants in Bayou la Batre about 15 minutes away. Fresh shrimp markets were also really close. There is a Dollar General and a convenience store 2 minutes away. The little private beach was awesome for me to relax and my husband to fish. We spoke to one of the owners who was extremely nice and helpful. The snacks and fruit were nice little extras. We hope to come back again.
