Wonderful home in a wonderful location. The beach is perfect for kids and adults. We ran the ocean front trail past all the other nearby resorts and this is definitely one of the best!

Great Location With Amazing Views

I loved this place! The pictures and description are very accurate. The location was perfect with amazing views and walking distance to shopping and food. The AC in the bedrooms was great and the condo was stocked with everything.

Lae Nani Gem

This wasn't our first visit to Lae Nani, but this condo will be where we stay moving forward. Completely private with the best views of the ocean and the property. AC keeps the rooms comfortable and it is furnished with everything you could need for your stay. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a quiet, well maintained residence.

Amazing Kauai vacation!

We had a wonderful vacation in Kauai and really enjoyed our condo at Lae Nani. The unit has two beautiful decks to watch the sunrise or sunset and was well stocked with everything we needed. The amazing ocean views were such a bonus! The common area pool, beach and BBQs were convenient located and great to use. Would recommend!

Condo was beautiful and well stocked. Some basic seasonings and olive oil. Living areas were extremely warm even with the windows and fans going. Sometimes it was cooler outside. Bedrooms were much cooler with the air conditioning units. Great to have LavaLava Beach Club & Coconut Marketplace within walking distance.Could use more kitchen towels for a 1 week stay.Overall we had a great stay and would stay again.

Amazing find

This property was as advertised. Quiet and on the ocean. Equal distance from Princeville and Poipu and a market nearby. Kitchen had everything we needed, even a blender!

The location was exceptional. The beach out front is so so so convenient and truly a dream. It’s wonderful not having to search for a beach and being able to walk out to it anytime you want. I would suggest the hosts provide a few more towels, and toiletries and paper towels and supplies such as these. Two rolls for 9 days was not enough. It’s little things like this that would make a difference. The condo was clean - I pay attention to things like door handles that are touched frequently and walls being clean -

Law Nani 536

Furniture a little large for place and windows needed cleaning especially the ones on the south wall looking towards Wailua River. We cleaned them! Otherwise Lae Nani is probably the nicest complex in Kapaa area.

Sweltering, False Advertising, Dated Facilities, and Bad Location: The pictures of the place looked amazing on VRBO - expansive ocean views, great amenities, and a description with “no AC in the living area but feel the cooling ocean breeze”. Marketing bologna. The property is right off the main highway into Wailua just past the bridge over the river. This is a less than ideal part of the island we learned: it was extremely windy, and the adjacent beach isn’t safely swimmable with very high surf. It was also a bit dingy and dated - felt like the run down parts Kihei on Maui. The property itself is very dated. It is a LONG walk to the unit itself up several flights of stairs with no elevator. The pool is an oversized concrete bathtub with tons of people floating in it and no hot tub. The grills looked grimy and poorly maintained. We opened the door to the unit - it was just cooking even with the windows open. The couch was worn and the beds were super hard. The rules list was extensive and made us wonder what must have happened there over the years. We got there after 5 pm so we kind of had to scramble - we knew we couldn’t stay. Ended up booking a new place entirely on our own dime. For what it’s worth, the property management company was very communicative and offered to bring in an AC for the living room. But it was too late and we lost all our money. Do yourself a favor: skip this and stay in Poipu for the same cost.

Lae Nani is a beachfront property located on Kauaʻi’s Coconut Coast in Kapaʻa, which offers a more local, relaxed island experience rather than the resort atmosphere found in Poʻipū. Many guests choose this location for its ocean views, tropical surroundings, convenient central location, and easy access to both the North and South Shores. The property listing accurately reflects that the bedrooms are air conditioned while the living area is not. Like many oceanfront properties on Kauaʻi, the living space is designed to take advantage of the natural trade winds and ocean breeze when doors and windows are opened. Ceiling fans and portable fans are provided for additional comfort. The photos in the listing represent the property as it is, including the furnishings, amenities, and views. Lae Nani is a well-maintained oceanfront property with shared amenities, including a pool and barbecue areas. We understand that every traveler has different preferences when it comes to location, climate, amenities, and style of accommodations. While this property may not have been the right fit for you, we remain confident that it provides a wonderful Kauaʻi experience for guests who appreciate an authentic island setting. Need ac

Being a third story unit it got so hot during the day even with the blinds drawn. The only semi cool spot was the bedrooms…..we had an infant and naps were done outside in the shade. There were 2 high tables on the lanai and only 2 chairs made it difficult for 4 adults to enjoy and dine out there.

Beautiful view but dated

Views were beautiful and the location was great but the condo was pretty dated and not what I expected for the price. The kitchen cabinets did not look like they had ever been wiped down and needed a good clean. The beach towels for guests use were ratty. Washing machine was gross and needed clean. Views from the condo were fantastic though and the grounds are nice. Beach chairs and umbrellas were a nice bonus for use.

Bedrooms have portable AC. Pool has no umbrellas. Beach is fantastic but not alot of room to "set up" on sand. Property Management was fantastic, loved the portal. No AC and no umbrellas at pool is why the 4 stars.
