We overall really loved this property and had a fantastic time during our three-day stay in Cape May. The home itself is lovely and served as a great base for our trip. However, there were two major logistical issues that future guests should be aware of, as they added significant unexpected costs and stress to our arrival.1. Lack of Basic Supplies:Upon arrival, we found only a half-used roll of toilet paper and a nearly empty roll of paper towels. For a three-day stay, this was nowhere near sufficient. We had to immediately head out to purchase our own basic paper products for the house, which felt quite unusual for a high-quality rental.2. The Linen Policy:The listing is very unclear regarding linens. It is mentioned only once in the fine print and was never emphasized in the direct check-in emails or communications from the host. Because the property provides comforters, pillows, and even has an in-unit washer and dryer, we (along with many others, I’d imagine) assumed sheets and towels were included.Between the linens and the paper products, we ended up spending an unexpected 150 just to make the unit habitable. Since we hadn't planned for the extra luggage space, we had to leave the brand-new linens behind, which felt like a total waste of money.Summary:If you book here, the property is wonderful, but bring your own sheets, towels, toilet paper, and paper towels. We hope the host considers updating the listing to be more transparent or, better yet, providing

As is standard for many vacation rentals, we provide a starter supply of paper essentials for guests' convenience, though additional supplies may be needed depending on the length of stay and group size. Regarding the linens, we confirmed that this information was clearly disclosed prior to arrival and specified that linens are not provided. However, we understand how important this information is when planning a trip and have since updated our check-in communications to make the disclosure even more prominent and easier to find. Great location.

A small, comfortable home. The area was beautiful, the location -outstanding!At least 5 great restaurants within a 5 minute walk, as well as take out, liquor store, park, you name it.Beach was about 6 minutes away by foot, through residential neighborhood with sidewalks, etc so a safe walk.House has small back area, fenced and perfect for picnics or quiet evening. Also an outdoor shower.
