Enjoy the comfort and ambiance of this circa 1854 double house Victorian, located in the center of the primary historic district. We are minutes to the beach, adjacent to the main shopping district, and convenient to Cape May’s finest restaurants. You can leave your car (there is one off-street parking space) and walk almost anywhere. We are furnished with some antiques but comfortable sofas and chairs. There is a private deck, with furniture and a gas grill. Our kitchen has a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. This summer, to replace the elusive beach box, we offer a Steger beach tag so you can enjoy two complimentary chairs and and an umbrella at the Ocean St beach. There is a beach cart at the house. It is loaded and ready to go with beach play things for your use. Washer/dryer in unit.

Property was clean, conveniently located to the central area of town. Short walk to the beach. Unit was comfortable, charming and with all the comforts of home. Wanted a private, relaxing weekend away with my girlfriend. That’s exactly what we got. Owner was available & attentive. We had an excellent stay.
True to the description in VRBO, the apartment in the Historic District was charmingly victorian, but with up to date appliances in the kitchen, and very spacious with living/dining/kitchen great room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. The apartment is well appointed with everything we could possibly need, and very clean. Our host was very easy to contact for questions. The location on Washington Street was central to everything we wanted to do. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay in Cape May!
My 3 friends and I stayed here for a little Valentine's Day weekend trip, and had a lovely time! The apartment was very clean, cozy, well stocked with most supplied you'd need for your stay, and conveniently within walking distance of the beach, downtown, and many restaurants and shops. Even in the middle of February the town and all was very charming. The owner was very responsive and kind; thank you for having us! Would love to visit again in the warmer months.
We had a wonderful time, the apartment was cute as a picture with everything you could possibly need. We would love to come back in the warmer weather!
I loved our stay !!! Old charming house ! Stocked with everything and anything you could want or need. Full size fridge and a washer and dryer and a dish washer . Close to the Washington mall. Very clean with a perfect location
Convenient to shopping and the beach. We appreciated having beach passes and chair rental included in the cost to rent the unit. The condo was quaint and just what we needed for a short stay.
Awful beds, no pillows/sheets/towels, great location
The location was great, the house is very clean, but the host does not supply anything. You have to bring your own towels, sheets, foil, and plastic wrap, pillows, everything! The listing says that they have beach chairs and an umbrella, but things are incredibly old and falling apart, and the host said that it’s up to guests to replace things. The mattresses are old and incredibly uncomfortable, with springs poking us (on the queen). I have back and back pain from sleeping there only two nights. We also had an issue with the air conditioning (99 degrees out), and the host insisted on having someone come over between 7 to 9 PM and when he wasn’t there by 9:15, I again requested her to cancel it (we had kids that needed to go to bed). She refused and he showed up at 950pm. He was nice, but the only thing he could fix was the disgustingly dirty air filters. The fact that we had to keep the kids up and he was 50min late was very frustrating, especially considering I asked her twice to cancel the call.Absolutely not worth saving money to stay here.
We have stayed at this apartment for the past 7 years. It is perfect for us. Close to everything, roomy and beautifully furnished. The deck with a gas grill is a big plus.
The apartment was charming and cozy. It had everything we needed and more to enjoy a chilly April getaway. It was close to the shops and the restaurants.
