We had a great time staying here. The property was exactly as listed, and the host was easy to contact and very friendly. The private pond was nice, and they had fishing gear and a boat available for use at the time of our stay. Highly recommended, and we will look to book again next time we visit family!

The house was very clean, and the host was very easy to communicate with. The Wi-Fi was also easy to connect to and worked well during our stay.The location was a little far from stores and restaurants. We went out looking for food and found a Dairy Queen and McDonald’s about 10 miles away.The main things I was not pleased with were the lack of privacy in some areas of the house. There were no curtains or blinds on the windows in the main living areas. Curtains were provided in the bedrooms only, so the other windows were completely open. Also, there was no bathroom door in the master bedroom, which would have provided more privacy.Overall, the house was clean, and the host was wonderful to communicate with. Adding window coverings and a door to the master bathroom would make the stay much more comfortable and private.

Perfect for relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay! We have been wanting to visit Callaway Gardens and this was super convenient. It is so private and the pond was wonderful to look at while relaxing on the porch!

Great quiet cabin

Enjoyed a week-long stay at this cabin. Nice quiet setting in the woods but near to town as well. Explored FDR state park, Warm Springs and LaGrange too.

Nice cabin with everything you need. Boat is neglected (very dirty and full of debris)... One oar broken and trolling motors a mess (we knew about trolling motors from last year). We caught lots of bass until..... The spiders ... Not just any spiders.... HUGE SPIDERS! Yes I hate spiders....but these were as big as coffee saucers! Last time in the boat... Last time near the lake. Goodbye Georgia.... Last time we visit these woods!

We're glad the cabin had everything you needed and that the fishing was good while you were out there. We regularly clean and service the paddle boat but will have our maintenance helper keep a closer eye on it moving forward, and we've replaced the broken oar and removed the trolling motor from the property since it isn't part of the boat. We apologize for the spiders you encountered near the dock - we regularly maintain that area and will keep a close watch to help minimize pests given the outdoor setting.

Christmas Family Trip

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin is great for a small family that enjoys the outdoors! Beautiful view of lake and plenty of places to explore outside. The cabin was decorated with Christmas so it made our Christmas family trip perfect! Great location and not far from Callaway Gardens, Wild Animal Safari and downtown had several places to eat and shop!

Tranquil lake in the woods

Wonderful house nestled in the woods with a private lake. Only the sound of nature surrounding you. We had such a pleasant vacation. Loved the pond and the boat. The little town of Pine Mountain is so quaint. Lovely shops and the best barbecue anywhere at the Whistling Pig!

A slice of heaven!

We loved this tucked away property. Everything was great, from the kitchen set up to the comfy king sized bed. We used that little pond every day to fish and kayak and took advantage of the FDR State Park park for great hiking. We hope to return one day soon!

Grandtabulous ‼️

My husband and I celebrated our 34 th wedding anniversary at this beautiful property's ‼️ It was nothing short of amazing ‼️ Peaceful and relaxing! If you enjoy fishing this is a little peace of heaven ‼️ The cabin is beautiful and well stocked. Our hosts Emily and Chance were amazing. We can’t wait to visit this property again. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ‼️

This is a beautiful place! The pictures doesn't do it justice! However it is meant for a people that enjoy and appreciate nature. Nature is beautiful and has wildlife that must be respected! The fishing and trails were amazing. The cabin is very well maintained along with the property and fully equipped with very nice furnishings. We will be returning often, thanks our family enjoyed our stay 😀!! Please post some signs about the snakes that must watched out for around the backyard, next to the deck steps.

Cozy quiet get away

Everything was in its place and very cozy. Easy to access the water for fishing or sitting by the fire. Beds were comfy. Loved having a washer and dryer in the house. My kids were constantly hiking and finding acorns and sticks. Kept them Busy. Super close to all things at callaway and warm springs. More living room furniture would of been nice. But it’s a smaller space. Overall I give it a 9/10.
