Welcome to Villa 69 in building 1! This villa offers full ocean views with French doors that open to the balcony from the living room and both bedrooms. With the queen sofa sleeper, it may sleep up to six, so it's a great value for two or three couples or a family. There are three large flat panel TVs in the villa, as well as free wireless internet. Use the well supplied kitchen to serve up snacks or meals to your family; all you have to do is swing by the local VONS to pick up your food items. This villa offers the complimentary use of a 4-passenger limo style golf cart, which is parked in space 69 above the property. 52 stairs to the road. 1050 SF H169 | | | Rental of a vacation home in Hamilton Cove includes use of the community’s amenities (pool, spa, health club, 18-hole putting course, tennis courts, croquet court, sand volleyball court and beach area with built in barbecues and picnic tables). Some restrictions may apply. Occupants subject to Hamilton Cove Homeowners Association Rules & Regulations. | | | This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum July & August). ----- This property is in a residential community and is only suitable for quieter groups. It was a beautiful property the view is amazing...the only complaints are they should explain more about all the stairs getting to your room and the television in the Master Bedroom did not work and maybe somehow put something up for more privacy on balcony from neighbors, but overall, very nice and well equipped with everything you need

We will be coming back. This was the perfect vacation. Too short of course. Only one small downside, there are ants. The property management does everything to keep them at bay, but you will need to pay attention to what leave out.

What an AMAZING vacation! This Villa helped make our stay in Catalina even better! The view was breathtaking... the home was clean and everything worked as it should. The beds weren't too bad either (We're kind of uppity about beds too) Because of the ocean breeze, you can open the doors and get a decent breeze to sleep. I can't wait to come back, and I would love to stay here again if possible! The prices are steep, but if you can afford it... DO IT, I would come here for every vacation from here on out!

Perfect weekend in catalina

Great property! Amazing views. Facilities at the condo were great. The kids loved the pool and mini golf course. Having the golf cart was essential for getting around the island.

The Hamilton Cove condo was great - nice view and very comfortable. Very clean. A lot of steps!! Would have given it a 5 star except for the fact that we were supplied with only one bath towel per bathroom (4 adults). Requested more but it took THREE requests to finally get some on the last day.

Fantastic stay

The villa was beautiful, with exceptional views from every room. Kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, dishes and utensils for meals. Outdoor bbq was perfect for cooking. Brand new golf cart was excellent and very efficient and easy to use to get around. Villa was decorated with tasteful art and beach themes throughout, furniture and beds were all comfortable. You can hear the ocean at night with the windows open and property was active during the day and had plenty of amenities on site to use if you didn’t feel like going into town. Pool was heated and the gym was easy to access. Grounds were well kept and quiet after 10pm. Communication with property management was easy, accurate and timely. Would recommend to anyone, would definitely stay here again.

The overall accommodation experience is very good. The community is quiet and safe. The whole house is clean and comfortable. It faces the sea and has beautiful scenery. Our whole family likes it very much. The community has its own beach. The only drawback is that the golf cart is a bit old and the left rear seat belt is always loose. Hope the owner can repair it.

Loved it! We’re definitely coming back!

The home was beautiful with an amazing balcony. Both bathrooms have been renovated recently and they are very nice. We slept great in the beds, and the kitchen was well stocked. Overall, it was a great experience and we will be back. The only negative is that the golf cart is a little old but it’s a rental so it’s ok. We definitely recommend this unit! We also booked an extra day to get in earlier. It was worth it to have an extra full day.

Not worth what the rate we paid Not very clean. Limited kitchen necessities. Mismatch dishes and glasses. Furniture old and dingy. Pool is not what was advertised in the picture. People upstairs had little children who ran and ran and ran until 10:30 Friday night and started up again at 7:00 am Saturday. Very disappointed. Will not recommend The view was gorgeous.

Nice, clean & COLD!!!!

Very nice unit….view and cleanliness was great. Cold….we followed the instructions on setting the thermostats @ 1:00 o’clock. Temperatures never changed 64 degrees. Sorry we did not cover the golf cart. I’m 80 yers old and without help I wasn’t able too. Thanks

Poor managerial service

We came in late at night by boat. Went to the house to grab the golf cart and on the way down the hill the wheel came off of the golf cart. Fortunately, no one was injured! While discussing the situation with the manager, it came up what time the cabs were running until. For whatever reason the cabs stopped running an hour early (9pm). The managers response to us getting up the hill with the entire family plus our luggage was to walk and that plenty of people do it.... this hill is not only long, but it is very steep. To be picking a fight with someone renting the house is completely out of line... not to mention someone could have been seriously injured.

We had a really great stay in this property. We had a little trouble locating the unit and the golf cart but once we did we enjoyed being there. The views from the balcony are spectacular. We used the golf cart to explore the island. Would recommend this condo for an unforgettable getaway!

Wonderful views

The property was clean and had great views from the balcony. The golf cart was a nice perk but our cart was pretty dirty and needed to be cleaned before we used it. We noticed that several doors entering the unit both from the road and the patio were unlocked when we arrived. It also appeared that the unit hadn't be used for some time and needed a good airing out. I would definitely stay there again but would request a unit with fewer steps to climb to get out to the road.

Great Catalina Location

The condo offered a fabulous ocean view. It was spacious, quiet and well equipped. The kitchen had everything you'd need to cook any meal you'd like. The golf cart was invaluable and allowed us to tour Avalon and go to the grocery store whenever we wanted. We had a problem with the BBQ, but maintenance fixed it within an hour of calling them.

1-69 Property review

While the location of & view from this unit was AMAZING, there were a number of things that bothered me. If it was just one or two, I wouldn't even mention it..but there were multiple issues: • property listing showed pool and spa. i was traveling with 4 kids, so i was counting on that amenity, however it was closed due to COVID. had it been disclosed in the listing, I wouldn't have booked there...it was a BIG deal for us. • the golf cart that came with the unit was so old (and loud) we though it was going to break down at any moment. the seats were ripped and taped back together, it was so filty that we had to clean it before we could even sit in it, and it was so old that it didn't even have a turn signal. • there were ants in the kitchen • the freezer barely worked. it was my daughters birthday...i got her an ice cream cake as a surprise and put it in the freezer & even checked to make sure it was set to high. a few hours later when i took it out to give it to her, it was a melted pool of ice cream. • there were cigarette butts. on the roof off of our balcony, as well as (there must have been a bachelor party there?) a latex "adult toy" out of reach but WELL within sight...the two 11yr old girls kept asking me about it. it was beyond unacceptable. • the toilets stopped flushing for an entire day and we had to fill the tanks manually each time we flushed. there were 6 of us in the unit, so you can imagine how annoying that was. i heard it was an issue with the entire community, not the unit though. that being said, the unit was clean and the view was amazing. the other "issues" just distracted from our overall experience.

Beautiful View

Beautiful view from balcony! Wish the living was a little brighter/airy with more windows or doors because it did get a little stuffy and seemed dark when you first walk in. Overall a nice property with great amenities and loved having a larger balcony. Quiet neighborhood and so helpful that the golf cart was included. Loved that the kitchen was stocked with every accessory you would need and loved the extra bonus of having a closet full of games and beach and pool toys. Perfect for families! Would recommend staying here.
