Very nice home, close to my daughter's dorm. The house was clean and there was plenty of parking. It's in a modest neighborhood, so the other houses aren't exactly ritzy, but everyone was nice and we didn't have any problems. Would definitely stay again.
The house was everything & then some. It was clean & the decor was beautiful; Very comfortable. The host was GREAT. Left us Byrds cookies in the unit, in which we loved & made sure we bought some for our trip back home. They were also available for any questions I had.
Great Hosts indeed.

Beautiful on the inside but not a great part of town.
We arrived Friday evening and ended up having to find a new place to stay for the weekend. There were people pulling in the driveway behind our car to go in the house next door and cars were parked infront of the house. My girlfriend didn’t feel comfortable as it’s not in a good part of town so our budget getaway ended up costing double what it should have. I’ll never book another listing through Vrbo without reviews. Lesson learned.

Hi Chris, we’re sorry to hear your stay did not meet your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- You arrived late on Friday afternoon, and there was limited street parking due to a rare Friday night church service nearby. You needed parking for three vehicles, and I communicated that we offer two off-street parking spots in the driveway. Street parking is first-come, first-served as usual. I offered to let you park in the backyard, but you preferred to leave. Unfortunately, a neighbor parked in the driveway, which shouldn't have happened.
- The property is located in a diverse urban neighborhood. We've had no previous safety issues, and past guests have had positive experiences. There are multiple short-term rentals within two blocks, and the area is home to students from Savannah College of Art and Design, as well as young professionals. Several restaurants, apartment buildings, and a nearby police precinct make this a safe and thriving neighborhood.
We truly go above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
We recently stayed at this property for three nights. While the house itself was fairly pleasant, our overall experience was mixed. Despite the property being very close to downtown and near everything, the neighborhood was not ideal, which my family member found misleading. Throughout the nights, noisy neighbors and loud vehicles passing by disrupted our sleep, making it hard to rest comfortably. Additionally, we encountered some minor maintenance issues during our stay. One of the showers did not have any hot water and the other had slow drainage. We ultimately had to share the shower with slow drainage, which was inconvenient. Although the house was fairly clean, the beds were a bit uncomfortable, affecting our sleep quality. On a positive note, the host(s) made an effort to welcome us with a thoughtful gift bag containing a letter and local cookies, which we appreciated. However, despite being Georgia natives, we didn't find the location suitable for a relaxing getaway. Overall, while the house was nice, the noisy surroundings, the neighborhood, and minor maintenance issues detracted from our experience.
