Not glamping, not secludedOverall disappointed in this property. From the get go, we had difficulty locating it, and the owner did not answer the phone and did not reply to messages until over an hour later. Our booking also did not indicate which of the two cabins was ours, we had to guess.Though glamping implies some level of luxury, the cabin is extremely bare bones, cramped, and dirty. Only 4L of water was provided for a 3 day trip, and there was no outdoor sink or shower (there is a stall of some sort, but no way to hang or hook up a water source). The composting toilet is set uncomfortably high, even with the provided stool. The owner's house and the neighbouring cabin were in full view - making the lack of curtains on the windows all the more problematic. We also put up with a fair bit of noise, including loud music being played and four-wheelers/dirt bikes going by as late as 10pm. The loft bed also had inadequate rails and creaked ominously with any movement. The lake was lovely, but a bit further than the advertised 5 minute walk. The trails were not maintained and were covered in fallen branches, and in places were dangerously sloped. The lake cannot be waded into as advertised, there is only a ladder leading to a rocky lake bed (no safe to jump in).
