The house and all amenities were beautifully maintained, especially the gardens. We thoroughly enjoyed out time in the house and our host had catered to every need.Highly recommended for a family holiday

Amazing property!

Our stay at The Oaks was wonderful. The photos of the property do not do it justice. The grounds and outlook are beautiful! The house is so spacious and everything you could think of needing is provided. The check in process was very easy as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Best trip

Wow, would recommend this property! I regularly book short getaways with my family, but this one made the top of the list. So many activities, and a very spacious home with beautiful decoration. The host communicates very promptly and is helpful!

Terrific!

We were a group of 6 adults and 8 young children in ages from 18 months to 7 years. It was raining but the place was still more than comfortable in terms of size and things to do. I can only imagine how good the place would be with better weather given the pool, tennis court and ample lawn / free space. Alan is a terrific and attentive host. We will look to go back again with our extended family.

We had a great stay at The Oaks. The house was large enough for an extended family get away, allowing everyone their own space so we weren’t tripping over each other. The house itself is nice and secluded and all we could hear was the local wildlife.The pool was fantastic and enjoyed by all, young and old. Lots of non essentials were provided that often you need to bring including beach towels, insect repellant and coils, firewood and more.A little bit of drama early on with some strong weather bringing down trees and power lines. We were without power for about 24 hours but the host sent a message with the updates from Ausgrid. Didn’t detract from our stay at all overall. Would definitely consider returning.

Matcham Country Getaway

Beautiful property, a few hiccups though, when we arrived the lights inside were not working, thankfully my husband is a tradie and was able to flick some switches and turn on..not good with young children and an elderly 98 year old woman...we had booked for Easter long weekend and on the Saturday afternoon the pool filter switched off, pool turned murky and unfortunately we couldn't swim for Saturday afternoon and all Easter Sunday..and the weather was 27 degrees, so again, not ideal with children. Overall, the house is great, BBQ area was great...beautiful house overall, it is unfortunate we had a few hiccups with the lights in the house and the pool.
