Beautiful studio in Cave Spring

Love this studio/cottage! This was my second stay here and I will stay again. It is located in a beautiful area - close to everything but yet with a pastoral feel. Very clean, beautifully decorated, and has everything you need for a comfortable, enjoyable time.

I (and my little dog) just spent 2 wonderful weeks at the cottage and we loved it! It is a beautiful studio cottage surrounded by gorgeous property and nature - deer sleep there and the owners have dogs, ducks, a friendly cat, and a bunny that is always out and about. Comfortable and beautiful furnishings, and peacefully quiet - I will be returning in the summer!

We loved having you and your little dog stay with us for these two weeks! It means so much to hear that the cottage, the surrounding nature, and the peaceful setting made your stay so special. Our animals sure do love meeting new friends, and it sounds like they made quite an impression too. Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful review, and we're so glad the space felt comfortable and quiet for your visit.

The nicest people you will ever meet, so friendly and helpful. The accommodations were cozy and we had everything we needed. Its so nice that they had a microwave that serves as an airfryer and oven. It really is the little extras that make your stay even better. The location of this stay was perfect, we had easy access to everything roanoke has to offer. We were about to enjoy the quiet and nature all around as well.

We're so glad the extra touches, like the multi-function microwave, made your stay more comfortable, and that the location gave you easy access to everything Roanoke has to offer while still letting you enjoy the peace and nature nearby. It means a lot to hear that our hospitality stood out too. Thank you for sharing such a kind review, it truly makes our day.

The flexibility and compassion of the host was outstanding. I was there during the birth of my first grandchild and a major storm. This was my fourth stay there so obviously that says a lot. The cottage feels like home!

Repeat Visit; Still The One

I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely property again recently. No detail is out of place. The owners do a wonderful job making it feel as if you “live” there. Still my new favorite place to stay in Roanoke!

Wonderful Cozy Cottage

I was completely impressed as soon as I walked in. The bed is super comfy. The space is well decorated. The owners supplied the essentials. Unfortunately my trip was cut short due to the snow storm but I do plan to stay there again.

Idyllic Cave Spring

One of the best experiences I have had as the owners are extremely responsive although you will need them for much of nothing! The serenity and nature were awesome if you like wildlife…this place was very well done and very spacious for the money! Will be back again :-)

Best Kept Secret

Beautiful and comfortable. Private and quiet. Rivals any luxury hotel suite in town. A wonderful rental. Hosts very responsive and helpful. I would rather not share how much I enjoyed this rental, lest it become too popular! This will definitely be my first choice any time I am in Roanoke!

From the owner: "Hello Sherry, thank you for the kind words. We enjoyed having you! I also see your kind remarks in our little guest book in the cottage. I appreciate the feedback. Coasters are in place and for your information, the kitchen table is actually two desks put together. I think you like the light in that space and the height, which is comfortable to work from. Let me know what you think next time you are in town."

Celebrating Our 31st Anniversary

We enjoyed our stay immensely and Dawn is an excellent host!! The cottage is very comfortable, inviting and well appointed, with every detail attended to. The property is very nice and our pup loved walking around. This is in an excellent location, easy to get to anywhere from Salem within 30 minutes for the Dixie Caverns, antiques and El Rodeo Mexican restaurant or downtown Roanoke within 15 minutes to the museums, shops and restaurants. We further have to say this cottage has been one of the nicest we have ever stayed in and were so happy to have found it!

Cave Springs

Absolutely perfect! Dawn and Franco are the perfect hosts. Their cottage is beautiful and welcoming at the same time. We brought our dog Lucy who was enchanted by the deer’s that roam their property. We ended up extending our stay by one night due to a medical emergency and they were more than understanding. They opened up their ho is with wine and a charcuterie board. We hope to stay there again in the future.
