Please read thoroughly: We are happy to share our family get-away with you! We acquired this property to use personally and offer it to guests when not in-use by our own family and friends.

As a family, we all chip in to do our own cleaning and maintenance. We are not master landscapers or green-thumbs but we try our best. You will be in a rural setting and all that goes with it such as gravel road dust & mosquitoes to name a few. You will not find hotel corners on the beds and perfect creases in the towels, but you will find a tidy place where we like to spend family time.

SUMMER 2026: New exterior paint & stain. If you stay, you may notice this is at different stages of completion. This is a DIY job done between guests.

This home has made great memories for a lot of guests! No frills!! This is an older constructed home. We cannot offer glitter, sparkle, shine or the latest and greatest technology. We do offer you a spot to lay your head, relax and bond with family and friends. Which is exactly how we use it. We provide basic amenities (bedding , towels & kitchen items) that we don't want to travel with so we share with our guests. We hope you can make memories of your own.

Unit features full kitchen & laundry, living room with gas fireplace and a full bath. This cabin has A/C unit and sleeps 5-6 adults.

*We are family, hunting, fishing and dog friendly!

*We do not offer private lake access, but we are near public access points like Johnson’s Point Rec Area, Walker's Point Rec Area & others.
*Minutes from the city of Madison (amenities: restaurants/bars, fast food, gas, groceries, automotive, shopping, antiques, entertainment, etc..)
*Minutes from 2 great golf courses - The Lakes & Madison Golf and Country Club
*30 Minutes from Royal River Casino

*Our cabin is cozy and VERY casual. We provide basic amenities and don't charge a cleaning fee. Most of our guests toss a load in the wash and/or do a quick sweep or vacuum when they check out.
*We LOVE dogs and want them as guests too . We try to catch it all, but some dog hair does get past our cleaning efforts. Please help us out by cleaning up after your dog inside and out.

*Private master bedroom features a full size bed. w/ firm mattress.
*2nd bedroom boasts a twin w/ firm mattress and twin/twin bunk-bed. Kids ONLY on top bunk, no adults please!
*Twin bed on a trundle frame off the living area
*Photos represent bedding options. In most cases, beds are simply made (only fitted sheet & pillow cases). Flat sheets & blankets are provided with guest choice to use.
*There is available space for an air mattress (bring your own).

*Basic kitchen items available including cooking/dining items, 12 cup coffee pot & toaster (all consumable items are BYO)
*Charcoal grill & tools available (BYO charcoal)
*Basic bath and kitchen linens provided -no personal care products provided.
*No daily maid service - basic cleaning supplies and washer/dryer available for guest use. All beds & pillows have protective covers. We clean and launder after your stay.
*Wireless internet available
*Roku Smart TV & Roku. Use these to log into your favorite streaming apps (Hulu, Netflix, etc) or watch free channels available. Usage instructions available on site. No cable.
*Dogs are welcome - please use a leash & clean up after your dog . It is best if your dog is social and friendly, there are a lot of social neighborhood dogs and children. We are not responsible for the behavior of other dogs/owners in the area.
*Damages are covered post-stay and will be documented with photo & description. Amount depends on labor and material cost for repair.
