Romantic Country Escape

Escape to the country for a romantic getaway, in a comfortable studio apartment. See the stars and milky way on a clear night, awake to birdsong, and enjoy some beautiful bush walks in the Otanewainuku Forest nearby. Farm fresh eggs and bacon for breakfast and advice on where to head off for the day, or just relax lying under the trees. The studio apartment has a Queen size bed, an en-suite and a kitchenette including kettle, toaster, microwave and bar fridge. Breakfast can be brought out to you or join us inside for a cooked breakfast.

Lovely country stay

Friendly hosts, Margaret and Rob, cooked up a great breakfast both mornings of our stay and provided good ideas for local dining and sightseeing. The lovely pristine little suite features a very comfortable bed, a small sitting area with very rural views (cows and sheep very close by). The only downside to this rental is its distance from amenities tho there is nice hiking in nearby Otanewainuku Park.

The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I only rented places that did not allow pets because I am allergic to most cats and some dogs. However they did have a cat and it would have been nice to know beforehand. Other than that, the place was very nice and well kept. Breakfast was delicious!
