We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Sugar Shack; honestly the only downside was leaving! The hosts are very friendly and very responsive - we particularly appreciated the unexpected treat of bubbles and choccy on arrival! The location was amazing; very well-placed to easily explore the surrounding region, but also felt very secluded and close to nature. We loved our evening birdwatching sessions on the porch! I'm sure we'll be back next time we holiday up in FNQ!

Such a beautiful location. Clean, very comfortable bed, great spa and view from deck was amazing. Kristie and Joanna were fantastic, made us feel welcome from the minute we met until we left.

Amazing stay in secluded paradise!

Myself and my partner absolute loved our stay here. From the warm welcome from Kristie and Jo, easy check-in, beautiful scenery and awesome hot tub, it made a great homebase for us for the weekend. They thought of everything and the property was absolutely spotless. Highly recommend!

Difficult access road to property. Internet/TV problems.Main sliding entrance screen door needs attention.Owners were helpfull,replaced linen and towels weekly and vacuumed.

Kristie and Joanne are two warm women who welcome you hospitably. We wanted to visit a doctor for our daughter and they helped us very well. Everything went well. They take good care of their guests.

Hubby stumbled across this little beauty last minute and boy am I glad he did. Great location with a beautiful view. Everything was just amazing! Feel so relaxed! Didn’t want to leave! Will definitely be back.

This property is beyond amazing! Neat, tidy, secluded. What more could you ask for. A gorgeous morning sunrise. Well, it came with that too. Kristie & Joanna are amazing hosts & have gone above & beyond to make our stay welcoming.

The "Sugar Shack" was such a lovely place to stay. The location is ideal, with privacy and a stunning view. We were so impressed with the attention to detail and the beautiful way in which the home was appointed. The spa on the front deck was a highlight and we loved that Kristie and Joanna organised for the spa to be hot and ready to use each night. It was also very thoughtful for our host to provide a bottle of wine and chocolates. Overall a perfect romantic getaway for my wife and I and I would highly recommend.
