Marseille rooftop
Do not discount this property because it is on the 4th floor without a lift- a group of people aged between 50 and 60 (one with hip issues) managed the stairs. You are rewarded with a quintessentially French view of rooftops on a balcony that is actually spacious enough to be enjoyed. A supermarket and transport links are very nearby. The shopping area is on your doorstep as is Cours Julien- for lovers of Hackney/Shoreditch in London- this is where you will find the bars/second hand shops. It is also very easy to get to Le Panier and the Vieux Port.
