Amazing house, perfect hosts. The house itself is big, clean, and well equipped, and just a short drive to Normanville or Yankalilla. The views outside are to die for. Hosts were great to deal with and very accomodating, looking forward to returning again hopefully next year. Couldn't have asked for a better experience for our annual fishing charter trip (other than the fact there were less fish caught this year!)

Great property

Property is beautiful and exactly as described. Definitely my fault for assuming sheets and towels would come with a property at this cost so far away from Adelaide. It does clearly state they are not provided so hopefully this short review will help you prepare better than me for my stay as 6 lots of towels and different size bed sheets for 6 is not available in town.

We enjoyed parts of our stay, however our experience was impacted from the moment we arrived. We spent the first hour cleaning, as there were numerous dead and live insects and spiders throughout the house. Unfortunately, this continued during our stay, with spiders appearing in the curtains, on the trundle beds, and unexpectedly on the floor.Some cutlery had been put away dirty, and we also found a dirty plate in the drawer. While this may not be directly the host’s fault, it was still disappointing upon arrival.Additionally, the wine glass selection was quite limited, which was surprising given the house accommodates numerous adults.The house is also very bright. For families travelling with young children during daylight savings, we would recommend bringing temporary block-out blinds or similar, as the existing window coverings did not block out much light.Overall, the property has potential, but improvements to cleanliness and kitchen supplies would greatly enhance the experience for future guests.

Had we been made aware at the time, we would have been more than happy to arrange for the cleaner to return, address any issues with insects, or attend to the kitchen items immediately. This is exactly what our guest support service is in place for. That said, we take cleanliness very seriously and will follow up with our cleaning team regarding the cutlery and plate you mentioned. Your comments about glassware and window coverings have also been noted and will be passed on to the owners for consideration. We genuinely value guest feedback as it helps us improve, and we do encourage future guests to contact our office straight away if anything is not right so we can rectify it promptly and ensure a more enjoyable stay.
