Beautiful place and location, truly a place to reconnect with loved ones in a peaceful setting. One note: there is no cell service there, but once inside the wireless service is very good.

Beautiful property. Host was fast in his response and allowed us to check-in early. House was adorable and hot tub was clean and worked great. The location was pristine- direct access to path to the beach. Great unobstructed views of ocean from every room in house- even from bed. Beach had unbroken sand dollars everywhere. Our pups loved the ocean- extremely private area. We plan on coming back!

Great stay.

This was our second stay here. The place is just great. It is quiet, private, has great beach access and is extremely well equipped. Although they allow pets, the furniture is covered in slip covers that were scrupulously clean for both of our stays. The fireplace works, views from everywhere, two great decks. The kitchen is well equipped with spices, decent pans, a coffee maker that works for drip or Keurig pods. Check in was easy, check out with minimal work. Quite private. A ten minute drive to a full service grocery store in Seabrook, restaurants even closer. We will come back.

Just about perfect for the Washington coast

Incredibly well equipped, beautiful view, great beach access, good deck chairs (could have used another cushion or two), very quiet. Decent groceries nearby. A nice 4 days with my husband's sister from back east. Thanks!

Perfect

Great location, spectacular views, and easy beach access. This was our 3rd trip to Sunset Beach and we couldn't have been happier with this beautiful home. Every convenience and comfort was provided and we're looking forward to a return trip next year.

Quiet Ocean Retreat

This Ocean cottage was quiet and in a beautiful spot. Not over crowded. It was well equipped in the kitchen, so we were able to have Christmas dinner with family. The hot tub was great, and being on the deck made it very convenient. So enjoyed our stay.

Ocean Escape

Our family of four had a wonderful stay here. Long walks on the beach, razor clamming steps from the house, and reading on the sunny deck with waves crashing in the background. This was our second stay at this property (first was at the equally well-appointed carriage house) and we'll surely be back!

Amazing Beach Front property

Beautiful, perfect beachfront property! We stayed here on off-season in October to do a clam dig. The beach was amazing and right outside the home! After being out in the cold and rain it was awesome to come sit in the hot tub! We will definitely rebook next year:)))

Our favorite getaway

We've been coming here for eight years and stayed in the carriage house. We never dreamed we would be able to stay in the main house. It was a dream come true! The endless beach and the sunsets, while staying at this beautiful home, made it the absolute best.

Great ocean views.

The house was amazing. 3 minutes to the ocean. Had an issue with hot tub. Brandon(owner) was awesome. He had it all taken care of as soon as he could. We would stay again.

Great views and ocean access

Lovely beach house with stunning accents and lovely landscaping. Very spacious, open, and comfortable. Has great ocean views from most rooms, balcony, and deck. All amenities for our comfort were there. It is a great location to take your family razor clamming. Close vicinity to groceries, supplies, shops, and restaurants.

The best place ever!

What an amazing place! This was my second stay and it definitely won't be my last. The space is beautiful inside an out (whether it's sunny or stormy), light, airy and immaculately clean while still being extremely comfortable and cozy. The hosts clearly pay attention to detail and have most everything you would need or want for comfort readily available. In addition the the amazing space, Brandon the host, was so helpful and easy to communicate with (and very generous in arranging both an early check-in and late check-out.) This place is the epitome of 5 stars!

Even better than expected

Perhaps the most well appointed property we have experienced. It is as if the owner anticipated any need we might have. It was tastefully decorated, perfectly located. The owner was incredibly responsive and fast. It is on our return list and would not hesitate to recommend this place to others.

Lovely visit

We thoroughly enjoyed the property. One thing to note, there is a TV in the living space. We contacted Evolve, and were told the only TV was in the Master bedroom - not true. The home was amazing...front and center with the ocean, and pretty much had everything we could ever ask for. I would certainly return!

Amazing property!!

Location is perfect! Beach is a maybe a 1-2 minute walk with an easy path. House was clean and fully equipped. Very pet friendly. Owners were attentive and easy to reach out to. Make sure you turn on WiFi calling as cell signal is weak, but internet is awesome and had no issues once we switched on WiFi calling. Seabrooke and Ocean Shores are close by for food and shopping. If you have ever wanted to find a perfect sand dollar while beach combing, this is the place. You can’t miss them. Loved this home and are planning a return trip already. Don’t wait on this one, book it! You won’t regret it!

Beautiful location!

Had a fabulous several days at this beachfront house. You can’t get any closer to the water and the view is fantastic! The house itself is very pretty. Beds were super comfortable and everything was supplied that you could possibly need. Enjoyed a really nice sunny first day and then some rainy/stormy days. It even hailed the night before checkout! Loved it! Wish my schedule would’ve allowed for another day as some really high winds were due in and I love a good coastal storm! I will definitely be back. My only regret is not knowing that Robert was selling the property. I would’ve loved to buy this place! The perfect beach getaway!

Ideal beach home

Spent a week in this lovely home. It was just about perfect! Modern but comfortable, and found everything we needed. Pretty cool August so didn’t need the a/c, but did run the heat a bit in the mornings to warm up the house. Took us a day to realize the door windows slide down to become screens (d’oh!). Seabrook is only 10 minutes away - great for a little shopping/restaurants/groceries. Also went to Ocean Crest for dimner 1 night (would not recommend). No reason to leave this great home though. Highlights: daily beach walks, birdwatching (so many pelicans!), even saw some deer on the beach and some porpoises. Recommend: adding a mirror somewhere in the home (only has the small bathroom vanity mirrors), and a bit more outdoor furniture on the decks - at least some small tables.

IKEA Beach House

Nice updated home with great views of the beach as well as a convenient private beach path. Checking in was easy, the home was well furnished - comfy bed and nice sized master bath. It’s also a short drive to Seabrook, for a day of exploring. The few things that would have made my stay a solid 5 was, the heating system seemed off. Despite turning up the heat, the downstairs seemed very drafty, while the upstairs was a sauna - a working fireplace would have been nice. The knives were super cheap which made it challenging to prepare meals. My guest and I found dirt and pet hair on and under some of the furniture. Additionally, response time from the property manager could use some improvement. I inquired about a later checkout time and never received a response.

Response from VrboOwner on 28 Feb 2024
Hi Nina, we value providing an excellent experience for our guests, and we would like to share some insights from the homeowner: -We are appreciative for the positive feedback regarding the exceptional beach views, the comfort of the home, and the convenience of the private beach path. -Regarding the thermostat, we understand that its location upstairs may result in slightly cooler temperatures downstairs, although not typically to the degree mentioned. -Concerning the fireplace, we want to clarify that it is indeed a working wood-burning fireplace. We will enhance our check-in instructions to advise guests to bring their own wood if they wish to use the fireplace. -Pertaining to cleanliness, we utilize a highly recommended cleaning service and have not received any complaints previously. However, we will certainly share your feedback with them to ensure continued high standards. -The guests requested a late checkout, and we promptly responded within two minutes, informing them that we needed to confirm with the cleaners. We proposed 11:00 AM as a possible checkout time. However, later discovered that the text message did not go through, and as the guests did not reach back out, we were not aware of the situation. We take full responsibility for this oversight and will extend my sincerest apologies to the guests. -In reference to the knives, we want to assure you that there is a set of brand-new knives available for guests' use. Our goal is to provide all our guests with a 5-star experience, and your feedback helps us immensely in achieving this. We genuinely value your input, and we're committed to making the required adjustments to ensure your future stays are exceptional.
